- Jon has been watching pro wrestling for more than 35 years, first hooked by Hogan/Andre at Wrestlemania III.
- His passion for wrestling heightened in recent years when his eldest son caught the bug as well, and the two enjoy traveling to shows throughout Florida together.
- Outside of wrestling, Jon has written professionally in one capacity or another for 20+ years, covering the NHL, NBA, NCAA, and much more for various outlets while maintaining a successful content marketing career, primarily in the tech industry.
Experience
Jon Jordan has three main passions in life: family, sports, and pro wrestling. Ever the storyteller, he is fortunate enough to have done all three professionally, completing that hat trick here at Wrestling Inc. in June of 2023. Jon covered the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning from 2007-2014, with his work appearing at Yahoo! Sports, Hockeybuzz.com, Kukla's Korner, and elsewhere. He's made radio appearances across North America and on SiriusXM NHL Network Radio. Jon has also co-hosted two NHL podcasts, one retiring to parts unknown and the other bequeathed to the capable hands of trusted colleagues. When Jon isn't 'dadding' around to youth sporting events or catching up on wrestling, he can be found at the local rink, still toiling around on skates at fortysomething.
Education
Jon earned a degree in communication from Florida State University. A literary and linguistics enthusiast, he also studied English and literature, taught at the high school level for the better part of a decade, and considers George Carlin and Mark Twain heroes.
As the leading pro wrestling site in the world, Wrestling Inc. endeavors to provide comprehensive, up-to-the-minute, and on-the-ground coverage of all the major events and storylines in the wide world of professional wrestling.
Our team of editors and writers brings decades of industry experience to bear on our daily coverage, which includes breaking news, stats and results, color commentary, and in-depth research and original opinion pieces.
