WWE NXT Results 4/29 - Two Championships On The Line, Stacks Meets With Tony D'Angelo & More
Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s results for "WWE NXT" on April 29, 2025, coming to you live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida!
After retaining the North American Championship against Ethan Page at "NXT" Stand & Deliver, Ricky Saints will be putting the title on the line once again tonight as he defends against Lexis King. Although this was initially slated to be a Winner Takes All Match for the North American Championship and the "NXT" Heritage Cup following a tense confrontation between Saints and King, King was dethroned as "NXT" Heritage Cup Champion by a returning Noam Dar during last week's edition of the show.
Hank Walker and Tank Ledger will be putting the NXT Tag Team Championship on the line for the first time on television since dethroning Nathan Frazer and Axiom at Stand & Deliver as they defend against Yoshiki Inamura and Josh Briggs. Ava granted Inamura and Briggs a title shot last week after Inamura had made it clear he had some unfinished business in the tag team division in her office last week.
After betraying Tony D'Angelo, Luca Crusifino, and Adriana Rizzo in order to help DarkState win a Six Man Tag Team Match against The Family at "NXT" Stand & Deliver, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo met Crusifino in the middle of the Las Vegas desert last week whilst D'Angelo and Rizzo were making plans about what to do next in the latter's hotel room. Following such, Stacks and D'Angelo will be meeting with one another tonight.
Additionally, "NXT" official Shawn Michaels has extended an open invitation to TNA World Champion Joe Hendry on his X page after Hendry had retained his title against the aforementioned Page and Frankie Kazarian in a Three Way Match at TNA Rebellion this past Sunday and was subsequently blindsided by Trick Williams in the moments that followed.
We are live! Vic Joseph, Booker T, and Corey Graves greet audiences at home as Joe Hendry makes his way down to the ring.
We Hear From Joe Hendry
Hendry says if you say his name, then he appears. He gloats about facing Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41 and retaining the TNA World Championship at Rebellion, then addresses Trick Williams and calls him arrogant. He says Williams was unable to win back the NXT Championship from Oba Femi and thought he could just take a shot at him, then calls Williams out to the ring.
DarkState's music hits and they appear before Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, Cutler James and Saquon Shugars attack Hendry.
Lexis King then makes his way down to the ring. Ricky Saints follows.

Channing Stacks Lorenzo and Tony D'Angelo Meet With One Another
D'Angelo says he never expected Stacks to turn his back at him at Stand & Deliver, but he did expect him to have a conversation man to man. He says he keeps thinking back to when he and Stacks were kids, and how he always stepped in when Stacks needed it both at school and in the streets. He says he rewarded Stacks by giving him the opportunity to show what he could do as "The Underboss", but he also acted impulsively as part of The Family. He says Stacks waited for the right moment at Stand & Deliver to stab him in the back.
Stacks appears on the Titan Tron and says he thought about coming to the ring tonight, then tells D'Angelo that he was sick of taking orders and was becoming soft. He says he had to take the reins himself and put D'Angelo in place, then says he knows that D'Angelo is shaken now that Adriana Rizzo is in hiding and Luca Crusifino is gone. He questions if D'Angelo can trust anyone.
The security on the outside of the ring begin to attack D'Angelo at Stacks' behest, but D'Angelo takes them down.
We then head over to a video of a meeting between Meta-Four, where Noam Dar, Oro Mensah, Jakara Jackson, and Lash Legend agree that it's all time for them to go their separate ways.

Trick Williams then makes his way down to the ring.
We Hear From Trick Williams

He promotes his appearance on the television show "All American" as he reminisces about being in Los Angeles whilst appearing at Rebellion, then says while he's Hollywood, Hendry is local talent. He says while Hendry tries figuring out his lane in the business, he's in the same lane as The Rock and John Cena. He then addresses Oba Femi that he wants his NXT Championship back.
Ava's music hits, and she makes her way out. He says nothing will ever be enough for Williams, and he even went to another company. She questions what Williams is doing, and Williams says that while he thought he was "NXT", he realized that he was bigger than that. Ava informs Williams that there will be a Number One Contenders 25 Man Battle Royal for the NXT Championship, and says Williams will get his next title shot if he can win that.
