AEW Rampage Results 12/6 - Three Gold And Blue League Continental Classic Matches, The Vendetta In Action

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s results for "AEW Rampage" on December 6, 2024, coming to you from the Fishers Event Center in Fishers, Indiana!

Three more matches for the Continental Classic are set for tonight, as Ricochet and Komander both look to score their first points when they collide in a Gold League Match, while TNT Champion Daniel Garcia goes one-on-one with The Beast Mortos and defending AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada squares off with Mark Briscoe in a pair of Blue League Matches. Claudio Castagnoli and Kyle Fletcher currently lead their respective Gold and Blue Leagues with six points a piece. Will Ospreay and Brody King trail behind Castagnoli in the Gold League with three points each, while Shelton Benjamin has earned three points in the Blue League and Garcia and Okada each hold one point.

Elsewhere, Deonna Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie of The Vendetta will be joining forces with one another in tag team competition for the first time ever in AEW. Not only will this be Purrazzo's first match since coming up short to Anna Jay on the AEW Full Gear Zero Hour Pre-Show on November 23 and her first match on "Rampage" since emerging victorious against Robyn Renegade on the May 18 edition of the show, but this will be Valkyrie's first match since she defeated Zoey Lynn on the November 1 episode of "Rampage".

We are live! Excalibur, "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard, Tony Schiavone, and Chris Jericho greet audiences at home as Mark Briscoe makes his way out to the ring. Kazuchika Okada follows.

The bell rings and the two go back and forth. Mark sends Okada crashing into the mat, but Okada sends his head bouncing off the ring steps. Mark fires off right hands on Okada's midsection back in the ring, but Okada fires off several right hands of his own on Mark and connects with a flapjack on him.

Back from the break, Mark and Okada teeter on the ropes. Mark sends Okada crashing into the mat with the Jay Driller and goes for a pin, but Okada kicks out. Mark then delivers an elbow drop off the top rope, but Okada pins him. Mark reverses into a pinfall of his own, but Okada kicks out and connects with a Tombstone. Okada connects with a back body drop on Mark and follows it up with the Rain Maker for the win.

Chris Jericho and Matt Cardona Come Face-To-Face

Back from the break, Jericho gets up from his spot at the commentary desk and addresses Matt Cardona who interrupted him on ROH on HonorClub last night. He sends a message to Cardona and says he's lucky that he didn't choose to fight him last night.

Cardona's music hits and he makes his way down. He says that his "Alwayz Ready" catchphrase isn't just a catchphrase, but a mentality. He says he's been working hard the last five years to reinvent himself. Jericho admits that Cardona is a bigger star now than he was in the fifteen years, but even after all he's done, he's still just Zack. Jericho slaps Cardona, but Cardona returns the favor and fires off right hands on Jericho. Bryan Keith runs down, but Cardona begins beating him down. Jericho joins him and whips Cardona with his Ring of Honor World Championship belt. Keith then wraps his belt across his hand and clocks Cardona with the buckle on it.

The Beast Mortos then makes his way out to the ring. Daniel Garcia follows.

The bell rings and the two lock up. Garcia looks to land a shoulder tackle on Mortos, but Mortos stays standing and locks back up with Garcia. Garcia connects with a pair of boots and a pair of low dropkicks on Mortos, and the action spills out of the ring. Garcia rains down right hands on Mortos as he sits in a chair and charges at him, but Mrotos catches him with a clothesline and dumps him back inside the ring. He connects with a Samoan Drop.

Back from the break, Garcia fires off right and left hands on Mortos in the corner. The two teeter on the ropes, but Garcia fires off right hands on Mortos and connects with a superplex. He looks to fly off the ropes, but Garcia rolls him up. Mortos kicks out, but Garcia pins him a second time for the win.

Winner: Daniel Garcia

The Vendetta, Ella Elizabeth, and Freya States are all then waiting inside the ring.

Valkyrie and Elizabeth begin the action. The bell rings and Valkyrie beats down Elizabeth. Purrazzo tags in and levels her with a clothesline, then clocks States on the apron. Valkyrie tags in and rains down stomps on Elizabeth in the corner. She sends her crashing into the mat with a powerbomb, and Valkyrie pulls States off the apron. Purrazzo locks in a Fujiwara Armbar on Elizabeth for the win.

Winners: The Vendetta

Ricochet then makes his way out to the ring. Komander and Alex Abrahantes follows.

The bell rings and Komander sends Ricochet crashing into the mat. Ricochet then delivers a dive to Komander on the outside and pins him back in the ring, but Komander kicks out.

Back from the break, Komander dumps Ricochet back inside the ring. Ricochet delivers a suplex to him, then follows it up with a Brainbuster. Komander sends him crashing into the corner spine first, but Ricochet sits him on the top turnbuckle and connects with an enzuigiri. Komander responds with one of his own from the apron, then delivers a poisionrana off the top and goes for a pin. Ricochet kicks out, but Komander levels him with a kick and delivers a 450 Splash off the top rope. He goes for a pin, but Ricochet kicks out. Komander walks the ropes and looks to fly, but Ricochet moves out of the way and sends Komander crashing onto the apron. He delivers a 450 Splash off the top rope and goes for a pin, but Komander kicks out. Ricochet then lands a scissor kick and follows it up with a Death Valley before connecting with a running elbow for the win.

Winner: Ricochet
