WWE NXT Results 10/29 - Heritage Cup On The Line, Nathan Frazer And Axiom Defend The NXT Tag Team Title

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s results for "WWE NXT" on October 29, 2024, coming to you live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida!

Charlie Dempsey of No Quarter Catch Crew will be putting the NXT Heritage Cup on the line on television for the first time since retaining against Je'Von Evans on the September 10 episode of "NXT" as he defends against Lexis King. Although King was himself unable to find himself someone to be in his corner for tonight's match, his search came to an end at "NXT" Halloween Havoc when William Regal approached him and offered to be at ringside with him.

As tensions between them continue to be on the rise, Nathan Frazer and Axiom will have to find a way to work together as a cohesive unit as they defend the NXT Tag Team Championship against the aforementioned Evans and Cedric Alexander. Frazer and Axiom's last defense came on the October 8 edition of "NXT" when they retained against A-Town Down Under while Evans and Alexander have become well acquainted with one another over the course of the past few weeks.

Zaria will be competing in her first ever match in a WWE ring tonight against an opponent who has yet to be announced. Zaria made two separate appearances at Sunday's Premium Live Event, with one being to stare down Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Roxanne Perez, and Cora Jade following their tag team match and the other being to blindside Fatal Influence with an attack after Fallon Henley dethroned Kelani Jordan as Women's North American Champion in a Gauntlet Match.

We are live! Vic Joseph and Booker T greet audiences at home as Tatum Paxley makes her way out to the ring bringing a giant casket with her. Wendy Choo follows, bringing a head along with her.

Paxley sets up the garbage can in the corner, then delivers a crossbody to Choo in the opposite corner and gets her up on her shoulders. She then sends her crashing into the mat and charges at her looking to send her crashing into the trash can, but Choo sees her coming and Paxley is sent crashing into the garbage can. Choo then places Paxley in the garbage can as she hangs off the top rope by her knees, then lands a dropkick on her.

Back from the break, Choo looks to send Paxley cashing through a dollhouse set up in the corner. Paxley stops her own momentum and looks to send Choo crashing through it instead, but Choo manages to land a hip toss on her through the dollhouse. She then closes the casket, but her pillow blocks it from fully being closed. Paxley escapes using the pillow, but Choo hits her with it and opens it up to reveal several pieces of Lego. She then sends Paxley crashing on top of them and dumps her into the casket, then looks to close the casket.

Paxley prevents Choo from doing so, but Choo flies off the apron with a senton and locks them both inside. He says it's time he had a talk with Holland and says in the past 48 hours, he went from not knowing much about Holland to knowing a lot about Holland. He says he knows that Holland is a good rugby player, but his respect ends there because he disrespected him. He says the "NXT" Universe will have to see a lot more from Holland if he ever wants another shot at the NXT Championship, but Holland says no one cares what Bubba Ray thinks anymore now that he's a radio host that sits behind a microphone. He calls Bubba Ray a nostalgia act and tells him to revel in his pride. He says Dave LaGreca will have to soon be looking for a new host because he'll be in the hospital.
