WWE NXT Results 6/18 - #1 Contenders Battle Royal, Women's North American Title Match & More

After successfully defending the "NXT" Championship against Ethan Page at "NXT" Battleground, Trick Williams will find out who his next challenger is tonight as twenty five men compete in a Battle Royal. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes revealed tonight's match to Williams during last week's edition of "NXT" when the two encountered one another in the ring, noting that some of the competitors may not be members of the "NXT" roster.
Just a little over a week since she won a Six Woman Ladder Match in Las Vegas, Nevada to became the inaugural titleholder, Kelani Jordan will be putting the Women's North American Championship on the line for the first time ever as she defends against The OC's Michin. "NXT" General Manager Ava granted Michin a title shot last week after she had defeated Jaida Parker of OTM in the opening contest of the show.
North American Champion Oba Femi will be appearing on tonight's show with something on his mind to share. This will be Femi's first appearance since June 9, during which he retained his title against Wes Lee and Gallus' Joe Coffey in a Triple Threat Match at the Premium Live Event.
"NXT" Women's Champion Roxanne Perez will be joining forces with Lola Vice to take on Meta-Four's Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, and Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx in a Triple Threat tag team match. The six women came face-to-face in the closing moments of last week's show in a verbal altercation that turned physical, with Perez and Vice ultimately being the only ones left in the ring together.
We are live! Vic Joseph and Booker T greet audiences at home as Je'Von Evans, TNA Wrestling's Joe Hendry, and Ethan Page make their way down to the ring. Most of the other competitors in the upcoming Battle Royal (including Frankie Kazarian) are already waiting inside the ring.
NXT Championship Number One Contenders Twenty Five Man Battle Royal
The bell rings and Ethan Page gets into Joe Hendry's face. Oro Mensah blindsides Page, and the two brawl outside the ring as everyone else in the ring goes after Hendry. They then dump Hendry to eliminate him.
Eliminated: Joe Hendry
Tony D'Angelo fires off right hands on Joe Coffey, and Edris Enofe takes a shot at him. D'Angelo turns around and dumps him over the top rope.

Everyone in the ring continues to brawl with each other, and Shawn Spears lands a chop on Tyler Bate. Eddy Thorpe looks to land a boot on Shawn Spears, but Spears ees him coming and dumps him out of the ring.

Joe Coffey looks to dump Bate out of the ring, but Bate keeps him from doing so. Malik Blade lands a chop on D'Angelo, and Humberto delivers a boot to Bate's midsection. Angel brawls with Ridge Holland in the corner, and Charlie Dempey dumps blade onto the apron over the top rope. Dempsey looks to eliminate Blade, but Dempsey hangs on. Dempsey eliminates Blade, but Damon Kemp then accidentally dumps Dempsey out of the ring while trying to help him. Frankie Kazarian then dumps Kemp and Brone out of the ring as Humberto and Angel work together to eliminate Apollo Crews on the other side of the ring.

Back from the break, Tavion Heights dumps Dante Chen onto the apron over the top rope. Chen then drags Heights out to join him, but Holland sends them both crashing to the floor.

Angel and Humberto get Tank Ledger up, but Ledger escapes and looks to dump them over the top. Lexis King comes to their aid, but then eliminates Humberto. Angel then dumps King out of the ring, but Ledger eliminates him.

Bate gets Ledger on his shoulders and executes an Airplane Spin on him. Bate then sends him crashing ont the floor over the top to eliminate him.
Eliminated: Tank Ledger
D'Angelo then goes after Bate and levels him with a spinebuster. He delivers one to Spears, then looks to eliminate Nathan Frazer. Frazer hangs on, then dumps D'Angelo over the top and onto the apron. He then lands a kick on him to eliminate him. Frazer then looks to eliminate Dragon Lee, but Lee hangs on. The two brawl on the apron and lands kicks on one another, but Lee delivers a jumping knee to send Frazer to the back.
Eliminated: Tony D'Angelo and Dragon Lee
Holland is eliminated by Lee and Bate, but Bate levels Lee with a right hand and delivers a rebound clothesline to Spears. Spears then eliminates Bate
Eliminated: Ridge Holland and Tyler Bate
We are down to four: Kazarian, Spears, Je'Von Evans, and Lee. Spears and Kazarian work together to beat down Evans and Lee, but Spears looks to eliminate Kazarian. Kazarian hangs on, and Spears is sent to the outside under the bottom rope. Evans then dumps Kazarian out of the ring over the top rope.
Eliminated: Frankie Kazarian
Lee and Evans fire off right hands on one another, and Lee delivers a German suplex to Evans. Evans returns the favor, and Lee connects with a sit-out powerbomb on him. Lee trips Evans with a kick from the apron after going over the top, but Spears sends him crashing to the floor to send him to the back.
Eliminated: Dragon Lee
Spears looks to send Evans over the top rope, but Evans hangs on. Evans then clotheslines Spears over the top rope, but Spears hangs on. Spears looks to fly off the top rope, but Evans avoids it and dumps Spears over the top rope to eliminate him.

Winner (and new Number One Contender): Je'Von Evans
Back from the break, we head backstage and see Ridge Holland put on a Chase U shirt as Andre Chase, Duke Hudson, and Thea Hail cheer him on. They run into Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, and a verbal confrontation ensues.
Back at ringside, Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson make their way down to the ring. Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx, and Roxanne Perez and Lola Vice follow.
Roxanne Perez and Lola Vice vs. Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson vs. Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx
Perez, Jackson, and Jayne begin the action. The bell rings and the three women take turns rolling one another up. Perez rolls up Jackson, but Jackson kicks out. Jayne levels her, but Jackson lands a bulldog on her and tags in Legend. Perez and Jayne duble team on Legend, but Legend sends both their faces bouncing off the middle rope. Jayne delivers an arm drag to her, but Jayne delivers a hurricanrana to her.
Nyx and Vice tag in, and Vice fires off kicks on Legend's thigh. Legend delivers a bodyslam to her, but Perez and Vice both deliver boots to her midsection. Nyx looks to fly off the ring steps to level Legend, but Legend catches her. Jayne delivers a senton to level them both off the ring apron, but Jackson sends her crashing into the ring steps. Perez then delivers a dive through the ropes to level Jackson.
Back from the break, Jackson locks in a double Sharpshooter on Vice and Nyx. Jayne helps Nyx escape, and Vice delivers a right hand to his midsection. Perez tags in and fires off a right hand on Nyx, then delivers running uppercuts to Jackson and Nyx in opposite corners and follows it up with a double DDT to them both. Vice tags in and Jackson fires off a right hand on her midsection. Vice fires off rapid kicks on Jackson and Nyx's thighs, then delivers a pair of hip attacks to them both.
The now legal Jayne levels Vice with a forearm before Legend tags in and levels Jayne with a forearm of her own. She levels Vice and Perez with more forearms, then delivers a double suplex to both Vice and Jayne. Jackson tags in, and she delivers a neckbreaker-facebuster combination with Legend. She goes for a pin, but Nyx breaks the fall. Nyx delivers a Pele Kick to Legend, but Jackson levels her. Vice then levels Jackson with The 305, and Perez tags herself in. She then delivers Pop-Rox to Jackson and pins her for the win.
Winners: Roxanne Perez and Lola Vice
After the match, Perez calls for the "NXT" Women's Championship to be given back to her. Vice eyes it, but Perez levels her with a backfist.
We then head over to Ava's office, where Ava congratulates Je'Von Evans on becoming the new Number One Contender for the "NXT" Championship. Ethan Page enters, enraged about not being officially eliminated from the Battle Royal after Oro Mensah attacked him in the opening moments of the match. Ava then makes a match between them official in the main event.
Back from the break, Michin makes her way down to the ring. Kelani Jordan follows.
Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Michin for the Women's North American Championship
The bell rings and the two shake hands. They then lock up and Michin levels Jordan with a shoulder tackle as Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows emerge at ringside to watch the action. Jordan delivers an arm drag to Michin, but Mihcin lands one of her own. Jordan is sent to the outside, and Michin looks to land a tope suicida to level her but is inadvertently almost sent crashing into Gallows. Gallows catches her, and Jordan flies over the top rope to level Michin.
Back from the break, Michin locks in a Bear Hug on Jordan. Jordan escapes with a few back elbows, but Michin levels Jordan with a boot. Jordan then lands a crossbody on Michin before the two exchange forearms and chops on one another. Jordan delivers a splash to Michin in the corner, then connects with variation of a facebuster on Michin. Michin lands a German suplex on Jordan, then sets up for Eat Defeat. Jordan escapes with a kick to Michin, then ascends to the top.
Michin pulls Jordan off and gets her in an Electric Chair position, but Jordan counters into a reverse hurricanrana. She looks to follow it up with a split legged moonsault, but Michin moves out of the way and sends her crashing into the mat. She goes for a pin, but Jordan kicks out. Bronco Nima and Lucien Price appear at ringside and get into Gallows and Anderson's face as Michin ascends to the top. Jaida Parker appears out of nowhere and pushes Michin off, opening the door for Jordan to land a split legged moonsault for the win.
Winner (and still): Kelani Jordan
Back from the break, we head over to the locker room, where Luca Crusifino offers Nathan Frazer a contract for a "NXT" Heritage Cup match against Tony D'Angelo as Axiom stands by. Frazer immediately signs it, and a frustrated Axiom storms off.
Back at ringside, Oba Femi makes his way out.
We Hear From Oba Femi
Femi says it feels all too familiar for him to be standing in the ring still holding the North American Championship after successfully retaining it. He says Wes Lee and Joe Coffey are two of the greatest that "NXT" has to offer, and says no one can take his title away from him.
Wes Lee's music hits, and he makes his way down to the ring. He says he'll be the one to take the North American Championship away from Femi, and says Femi never pinned him at Battleground. Femi says Lee's obsession with the North American Championship is beginning to irritate him, and Lee says he wanted to test himself against Femi one-on-one. He says he had the opportunity to participate in the Number One Contenders Battle Royal earlier tonight, but he declined to do so in order to focus all his energy on regaining the North American Championship.
Femi tells Lee that he's done with him and looks to leave, but Lee stops him and tells Femi not to turn his back on him. Lee says Femi has everything going for him and is making headlines every week, and says he's being treated as the greatest North American Champion of all time. He tells Femi he has the chance to do something about it, then says he'll show Femi a different kind of Kardiak Kid should he defend the title against him one-on-one.
Femi says Lee has a lot of faith in himself, as do the fans. He says all he's concerned with is changing the record books, and grants him a shot at the North American Championship one-on-one only if he agrees to never challenge for the title again as long as he holds it. Lee agrees to his terms.
Fallon Henley then makes her way down to the ring.
Back from the break, we see Charlie Dempsey invite Tavion Heights to be part of No Quarter Catch Crew. After Heights hesitates, Dempsey challenges him to face Damon Kemp on his behalf.
Back at ringside, Carlee Bright and Kendal Grey makes their way out.
Fallon Henley vs. Carlee Bright (w/ Kendal Grey)
The bell rings and the two lock up. Bright deliversa hurricanrana to Henley, then delivers a crossbody to her. Henley lands a chop on Bright, then jams her shoulder into her midsection. Henley lands a boot on the side of Bright's head, but Bright delivers a Sunset Flip to Henley. Bright locks in a Sleeper on Henley, but Henley sends her crashing into the corner to escape.
Wendy Choo sneaks up on Grey on the outside and puts her to sleep. Bright gets Henley back inside the ring and looks at what happened between Grey and Choo in disbelief. Bright lands a dropkick and looks to fly off the middle rope, but Henley avoids it and connects with a Shining Wizard for the win.
Winner: Fallon Henley
Chase U then makes their way down to the ring. The OC follows.
Chase U (w/ Thea Hail and Ridge Holland) vs. The OC (w/ Michin)
Chase and Anderson begin the action. The bell rings and Anderson fires off right hands on Chase. Chase lands a shoulder tackle on Anderson, then sends him crashing into the corner and tags in Hudson. Hudson and Chase double team on Anderson.
Gallows tags in and delivers a back suplex to the now legal Chase. He connects with a few elbow drops on him, then sends him crashing into the top turnbuckle face first and lands a pair of bodyslams on him. Anderson tags in and levels Chase, then tags back out to Gallows. Hudson tags in and levels Anderson with a back elbow, then takes down Gallows on the apron and fires off the Chase U right hands on Anderson. Hudson and Chase clothesline Gallows out of the ring, and Chase delivers a senton off the apron to level Gallows. Back inside the ring, Hudson rolls up Anderson as Holland holds onto him for the win.
Winners: Chase U
After the match, Hudson looks at Holland confused as Andre Chase and Thea Hail celebrate.
We then head to Ava's office and see her talking to Kelani Jordan about her next challenger for the Women's North American Championship as Stevie Turner and Mr. Stone stands by. Arianna Grace walks in and thanks Jordan for granting her a title shot. Jordan clarifies that she was referring to Sol Ruca, and Ava makes a Women's North American Championship Number One Contenders match between Ruca and Grace official for next week as Turner becomes visibly frustrated.
Back at ringside, Trick Williams makes his way down to join the announce desk for the following match. Je'Von Evans and Ethan Page follow.
Je'Von Evans vs. Ethan Page
The bell rings and Page wastes no time. He charges at Evans, but Evans fires off chops on him. Page delivers a boot to Evans' midsection, then fires off shoulders on his midsection and sends him crashing into the mat. He whips Evans into the corner, then connects with a bodyslam on him and fires off a couple of knees on his spine. Evans lands a chop on Page, but Page sends Evans crashing midsection first into the top rope. Page sets up for Ego's Edge on Evans, but Evans escapes and delivers a double stomp to Page's midsection. He then delivers a kick to him.
Back from the break, Page has an arm submission locked in on Evans. He delivers a stomp to his spine, then sends him bouncing off the top rope midsection first and follows it up with a powerslam. He locks in a Boston Crab on Evans, but Evans makes his way over to the bottom rope to escape the hold.
Evans fires off right hands on Page's midsection and levels him with a clothesline, then connects with a back elbow and a kick to his head. He ascends to the top and delivers a crossbody, then goes for a pin. Page kicks out.
Evans looks to land a springboard cutter, but Page moves out of the way. Evans then sends Page crashing into the mat before Page levels Evans and looks to land a powerslam. Evans counters into a Tornado DDT and pins Page, but Page kicks out. Evans ascends to the top, but Page trips him and sends him crashing into the top turnbuckle midsection first. He then delivers Ego's Edge for the win.
Winner: Ethan Page
After the match, Page spots Williams at the announce desk. The two get in one another's faces as Shawn Spears slides into the ring and fires off right hands on Evans. Williams then gets inside the ring and fires off right hands on Spears, but Page joins Spears and beats down Williams. Evans then flies off the top rope to level Page and Spears with a double cutter, and the four men are left laid out in the ring with the "NXT" Championship in the middle of them as the show goes off the air.
