Last week, Andre Chase disclosed to a myriad of reporters that Chase U is currently under investigation relating to school finances to the shock, anger, and frustration of many students. In light of such, Chase will be addressing the members of the school community tonight.

Ilja Dragunov is set to defend his "NXT" Championship against Baron Corbin at Deadline, but before they do so, they will be meeting one last time in the ring face-to-face. There have been no shortage of issues between the two men over the past few weeks, dating back to an attack Corbin launched on Dragunov right after he got backstage following a match.

We are live! Vic Joseph and Booker T greet audiences at home as Roxanne Perez makes her way down to the ring. Thea Hail, Jacy Jayne, Kiana James, and Fallon Henley follow, and a video of Perez and James getting into a physical altercation yesterday at the Performance Center is shown.

Hail then sends Henley crashing out of the ring and looks to fly, but James clocks her. Hail delivers a drop toe hold to James before James begins brawling with Perez on the outside. Back from the break, Henley and Hail are teetering on the top rope. James pulls them both down, but Perez delivers a dropkick and a running uppercut to her in the corner before firing off right hands. She does the same to Henley, then delivers a boot to her midsection and looks for Pop Rox. James prevents her from landing it, and the two end up on the outside near the announce desk. Perez sends James crashing into the barricade, and the two end up teetering on top of it. Perez then sends James crashing through it. We then head backstage and see Lyra Valkyria, Lola Vice, Elektra Lopez, and Tatum Paxley get into a verbal exchange with one another.

Back from the break, Wes Lee is waiting in the ring on a crutch.

We Hear From Wes Lee

Lee says Deadline is only four days away, and he was imagining the feeling of what it would be like to beat down Dominik Mysterio and take the North American Championship away from him. He says unfortunately it won't be happening that way and thanks fans for their support. He says that won't bring back the feeling to his legs or take away the excruciating pain that he's in. He says it'll take surgery and time, and says while he's unsure when he'll be back. He says it's not goodbye, it's see you later because he's far from being done.

Dominik Mysterio's music hits and he makes his way down to the ring mocking Lee for going home. He says he doesn't doubt that Lee needs back surgery, then complains about his back hurting from carrying WWE for the past two years. He tells Lee to watch what he does from the North American Championship, but now that Lee won't be at Deadline, he has the night off. Lee informs Dominik that he will still be defending his North American Championship at the Premium Live Event. Rey Mysterio then appears on the Titan Tron to tell Dominik that he will be defending his championship against Dragon Lee and he will be in his corner to support him.

Dragon Lee's music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. He levels Dominik and looks to powerbomb him, but Dominik slides out of the ring before he can.

We then head backstage to the medical area, where Kiana James and Roxanne Perez find themselves in yet another verbal exchange that almost turns physical. Officials prevent the two women from attacking one another, and Ava walks in to tell the pair that she'll make sure to get them a match against each other at Deadline.

Back from the break, Tatum Paxley makes her way down to the ring. Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez follow.

Gable and Dat begin the action. The bell rings and the two lock up. Gable sends Dar crashing into the mat, then cinches in an Ankle Lock. Dar quickly makes his way over to the ropes to break the hold. Mensah tags in and Gable fires off chops on him. He follows it up with a pair or arm drags and cinches in an Ankle Lock, but Legend tags in to force the hold to be broken. Dupri enters the ring and connects with a boot on Legend, then looks for a hurricanrana. Legend catches her before Dar and Otis tag in. Otis lands a shoulder tackle on Dar, but Mensah tags in. Dar and Mensah fire off right hands on Otis' spine, but Otis levels them both with a suplex. Gable then tags in and delivers a double clothesline off the middle rope. Everyone then begins brawling on the outside.

Mensah tags in and Otis connects with a shoulder tackle, then delivers a bodyslam and a back elbow. Dar tries to interfere, but Otis plants him with a powerbomb. Mensah connects with a knee and looks for a springboard moonsault, but Otis catches him and hits a slam. He follows it up with The Caterpillar, but Mensah tags in Legend. Legend delivers a bodyslam to Otis, but is unaware that Durpi has ascended to the top rope. Dupri hits an Avalanche hurricanrana and a suplex, then goes for a pin. Mensah pulls Dupri off Legend, but Dupri fires off right hands on him and Gable clotheslines him out of the ring. Dupri looks to hit Legend with a boot from the apron, but Otis catches her.

Dupri climbs on top of Gable's shoulders and levels everyone on the outside. Back in the ring, Dar looks for an enzuigiri on Gable (now the two legal men). Gable catches him in an Ankle Lock, and Dar taps out.

Winners: Alpha Academy

Back from the break, the competitors in the Women's Iron Survivor Challenge and Byron Saxton are waiting in the ring.

Women's Iron Survivor Challenge Summit

Saxton introduces Tiffany Stratton, Lash Legend, Blair Davenport, Kelani Jordan, and Fallon Henley, then says that each woman has the chance to take the floor and explain why they should win the match. He informs the women that if someone brings up their name, they are allowed to quickly respond. Stratton kicks things off, and says she's the favorite to win as the most talented and athletic star in the match. She brags about Charlotte Flair giving her a shout out and says she's the only person in the ring who has previously held the "NXT" Women's Championship. She says she sees four participant trophies and one winner.

Jordan is next to speak and says that while she may be the competitor in the match with the least experience. She says while she doesn't know what to expect, none of her opponents know either given that they haven't been in the match before either. She says gymnastics has afforded her endurance and says she can compete for 25 minutes. Lash Legend is the next one up, and tells Jordan no one wants to hear her speak. She says if Stratton wants to talk about how athletic she is, she was indeed athletic when Becky Lynch dethroned her as "NXT" Women's Champion. She says she knows a thing or two about scoring multiple pinfalls from watching Noam Dar defend his "NXT" Heritage Cup, then says she'll be putting everyone in the penalty box. Jordan questions what happens when she sends Legend to the penalty box, and Legend assures her it won't happen.

It's Davenport's turn, and she says she doesn't like anyone in the ring. She says she's pit both Sol Ruca and Nikkita Lyons on the shelf, then says take a look at Gigi Dolin as an example of what she can do. Henley cuts her off and takes shots at all her opponents (except Jordan), and says she intends to ride the momentum of her win tonight heading into Deadline. Stratton tells Henley that she has no chance of winning the Women's Iron Survivor Challenge, and Legend takes issue with Stratton cutting her off. Saxton tries to regain control of things, but is unable to do so. All five women begin brawling with one another in the ring, and officials run down to pull all five women apart.

Back from the break, Axiom makes his way down to the ring. Nathan Frazer follows.

Nathan Frazer vs. Axiom

The bell rings and the pair waste no time going after one another. Axiom delivers an arm drag and a dropkick, but Frazer lands a hurricanrana. The pair then level one another with boots before Axiom ascends to the top and looks to fly. Frazer catches him with a superkick mid-air, and the action spills to the outside. Frazer delivers a moonsault off the ropes, and the five women in the Women's Iron Survivor Challenge (still brawling with one another) spill out into the ringside area. They enter the ring and cause a double disqualification.

Winner: N/A (double disqualification due to outside interference)

Davenport separates herself from the rest of the women and ends up on the ramp, but gets caught with a kick from the returning Nikkita Lyons.

Chase U Holds A School Wide Assembly

We head backstage to the Chase U students in an assembly. Andre Chase addresses them all, and says while assemblies are usually cause for celebration, that's not the case. He says he put the school in jeopardy with the misuse of school funds and gambling, then says the results of the investigation mean Chase U is under academic probation. He says students who applied for financial debt will no longer be available to new students, and Chase reveals that he owes hundreds of thousands of dollars when asked by Thea Hail. He says after losing all of his personal finances, he used school funds and took out a loan from a third party asset that he is now unable to pay back. He says that he will restore Chase U's glory, and students begin suggesting how they can help, from bake sales to car washes to crash courses on how to avoid financial troubles. Hail seemingly has a crush on the student who suggested the crash course as Chase wraps up the assembly.

We head over to Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes, where the former confronts the latter about a video posted to the "NXT" Anonymous account showing Hayes following Williams out of a room after checking his phone the night that he was blindsided several weeks ago. Williams demands answers, and Hayes says they can talk about things after his Fatal Four-Way Last Chance Match. He then makes his way down to the ring. Tyler Bate, Eddy Thorpe, and Joe Coffey follow.

Carmelo Hayes vs. Tyler Bate vs. Eddy Thorpe vs. Joe Coffey In A Fatal Four-Way Last Chance Match for the Men's Iron Survivor Challenge

The bell rings and Joe goes after Thorpe. He targets Thorpe's injured ribs before Hayes rolls Thorpe up. Thorpe kicks out and levels Hayes. He then delivers a boot to Bate's midsection and looks for an Airplane Spin on him. Coffey pulls Thorpe off and gets caught with one of his own. Hayes then fires off a chop on Bate, but Bate responds with a dropkick. He then delivers a knee to Coffey and looks to go flying off the middle rope with an uppercut, but Coffey catches him with a Waist Lock. Hayes looks to break it up, but Coffey catches him with a back body drop and sends Bate crashing into the mat. He then connects with a springboard clothesline to Thorpe, but gets leveled with a crossbody by Thorpe off the top rope as does Bate. Hayes levels Bate with a kick, but Thorpe hits him with a spinebuster.

Back from the break, Hayes goes flying off the ropes with a springboard DDT to plant Bate and Coffey. Thorpe then levels him and delivers a crossbody to Coffey. He catches Hayes with a German suplex, then delivers a Brainbuster to Bate and goes for a pin. Coffey breaks the fall and the action spills out of the ring. Thorpe levels Bate and Coffey with tope suicidas, then catches Hayes with a boot to his face. Coffey then sends him crashing into the rings steps spine first, and the referee calls on medical officials to check on him.

Back inside the ring, Coffey goes flying off the top to level Bate and Hayes. Hayes delivers a Sunset Flip to Coffey as Coffey hits Bate with a German suplex. Coffey then sends Hayes crashing into Bate and catches both men with a strike. Hayes then sends Coffey crashing on top of Bate, then delivers a Codebreaker to Bate and looks to pin him. Coffey breaks the fall and Hayes catches him with a superkick, then looks to flying off the ropes. Coffey catches him with a Glasgow Send-Off mid-air, and begins brawling with Bate. Bate catches him with a springboard clothesline and Tyler Driver 97 for the win.

Winner: Tyler Bate

Tyler Bate then comes face-to-face with Dijak (who hits Thorpe with a boot on his way down to the ring), Bron Breakker, and Josh Briggs. The four men put each other on notice, take jabs at one another, and talk themselves up. Trick Williams joins his Iron Survivor Challenge competitors and wastes no time. He tells Bate, Breakker, Dijak, and Briggs that he'll beat all of them, then attacks Dijak. Breakker, Bate, and Briggs join in, and all five men begin brawling with one another before officials run down to separate them.

Back from the break, we see Hayes asking Ava for a favor. She agrees and walks off to take care of things. Williams then storms in and demands to know if Hayes asks Lexis King to attack him. Hayes denies he did so, and tells Hayes he asked Ava to get him a match at Deadline against King in order to prove that he didn't attack Williams. Williams then says that Hayes will be opening the show this time around while he will be closing it.

Back at ringside, Ilja Dragunov and Baron Corbin are sitting across from one another in the ring at a desk.

Ilja Dragunov and Baron Corbin Meet In The Ring

Corbin volunteers to go first, but Dragunov cuts him off and flips over his own chair. He says Corbin has turned their Deadline match into much more than a "NXT" Championship match when he brought his personal life into things. He says Corbin can mock his accent or demeanor, but he crossed the line and now his body will pay. Corbin says the sacrifices Dragunov makes are really excuses, then says he turned his back on his son when he left him at home. He says what Dragunov is doing to his son is what his father did to him.

Dragunov takes off his suit jacket and tie. He gets fired up, but says he's trying to contain his anger. He explains that if he unleashes it now, there won't be an "NXT" Championship match at Deadline because Corbin will be leaving in an ambulance. He calls Corbin a "materialist son of a b****", and Corbin says this isn't about materialistic things. He says it's about vindication for himself because he's never stopped through brand changes or Covid-19. He says he's been a prominent figure in WWE for over 8 years, then says Dragunov is about to lose it given that he misses his son and his son misses him. He says that if this is about Dragunov's family, he should do something about it right now. Dragunov flips the table over, and Corbin continues to provoke him.

Corbin offers Dragunov a shot at him and turns away from him, then calls Dragunov a coward. Dragunov starts playing mind games of his own with Corbin and hugs him instead of striking him, telling him that no one can destroy the dragon except the dragon himself. He backs away and creepily smiles at him.

The five competitors in the Men's Iron Survivor Challenge then spill out into the ringside area, continuing to brawl with one another in the ring. Bron Breakker looks to hit Dijak with a Spear, but Dijak throws Breakker crashing into Williams. The pair then go crashing through a table set up in the corner, and Bate levels Dijak before being the one who stands tall as the show goes off the air.
