AEW Rampage Results 11/17 - Christian Cage Defends The TNT Title, Toni Storm Vs. Emi Sakura & More

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s results for "AEW Rampage" on November 17, 2023, coming to you live from the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California!

AEW World Champion MJF and his challenger Jay White will be speaking to Tony Schiavone and Renee Paquette respectively ahead of their title match in the main event of AEW Full Gear tomorrow night. The issues between the pair have been well documented, with White stealing MJF's title as retaliation for an attack launched on him backstage a few weeks ago by several unknown assailants led by a person in MJF's signature devil mask. While "The Salt of the Earth" has previously stated he is not the person responsible, White still blames him.

Toni Storm looks to score a win and gain some momentum heading into her match at tomorrow night's pay-per-view when she collides with Emi Sakura. Storm will be challenging Hikaru Shida for her AEW Women's World Championship, looking to become the only other three time titleholder in history and tie Shida's record.

While there have been no other segments that have been announced for tonight's show, there is sure to be some additional final build heading into AEW Full Gear.

We are live! Tony Schiavone, Nigel McGuinness, and Chris Jericho greet audiences at home as Trent Beretta makes his way down to the ring. Christian Cage, Nick Wayne, and Luchasaurus follows.

The action spills back out of the ring and goes flying over the top to level him before both men get back in the ring and Cage sends Beretta crashing into the ring post shoulder first.

Renee Paquette's Interview With Jay White Goes Awry

Paquette says White has the chance to become AEW World Champion, and says a lot has been going on over the past several months. She addresses the person in the devil mask and asks White if he's worried that they'll get involved in the match. White says that's the million dollar question, but he's focused on living up to the E in AEW. He tells MJF to bring his friends who helped him attack White to Full Gear because he's bringing Bullet Club GOLD, and says he won't even make it to their AEW World Championship match once The Gunns take care of him on the Full Gear Zero Hour Pre-Show.

Paquette asks what the Switchblade Era looks like if things go his way, and White corrects her. He says when things go his way, everyone will get more of what they loved. He says he'll sleep a little sweeter at night when he proves to be better than MJF.

MJF appears out of nowhere and blindsides him, looking to steal back the AEW World Championship. He sends his face bouncing off some nearby equipment and looks to stomp his face, but White ducks out of the way. Juice Robinson attacks him from behind and continues beating him down in the same room the interview was conducted in. When White enters the room, MJF throws a flatscreen television at him as Robinson lays on the floor in agony.

White runs into the ring looking to get away from MJF, but MJF is hot on his heels. He fires off right hands on him, and Austin Gunn looks to help White out. MJF immediately takes him down and fires off right hands, then does the same to Colten Gunn when he tries to do what his brother did. MJF spots his AEW World Championship and grabs it to reclaim it, then looks to hit White with it. The Gunns blindside him before he can, and White joins in. The three men look to grab MJF's title once again, and White does so. He orders The Gunns to hold MJF in place so he can hit him with the title, but before he can, Samoa Joe's music hits and he runs down to the ring to even the odds. Bullet Club GOLD is forced to retreat with MJF's title in hand. He stares down MJF in the corner and offers him his hand as a means of offering to be his partner tomorrow night on the Full Gear Zero Hour Pre-Show. MJF shakes it, also agreeing to grant him a future AEW World Championship match in the process should he retain his title.
