WWE NXT Results (11/01) - Mandy Rose Celebrates One Year As Women's Champion, R-Truth Vs. Grayson Waller, Bron Breakker Returns

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s results for "WWE NXT" on November 1, 2022!

Toxic Attraction will be hosting a bash to celebrate "NXT" Women's Champion Mandy Rose's one year anniversary as the titleholder. Rose initially captured the title after defeating Raquel Rodriguez at last year's Halloween Havoc premium live event, and has since gone on to overcome the likes of Cora Jade, IYO SKY, Meiko Satomura, Blair Davenport and most recently, Alba Fyre. Rose now shares the honor of being only one of three women to carry the title for over a year (with the other two being Shayna Baszler and Asuka) and seems to show no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Elsewhere in the women's division, Chase U's Thea Hail will be going one on one with Kiana James. The two women have had issues ever since James managed to sneak away with a win over Hail with a little help from Mr. Stone a few weeks ago. Will she be able to pick up another win tonight, or will Hail be able to exact her revenge?

Schism will be giving an interview tonight following last week's revelation that Ava Raine was the person in the red hoodie who had been assisting them over the course of the past few weeks. The group has been a force to be reckoned with and has made it clear that they will stop anything or anyone that gets in their path. What message will they have to send to the WWE Universe?

Grayson Waller will be taking on R-Truth in single's action. Truth made a surprise appearance on last week's edition of "NXT" (thinking it was Halloween Havoc) and interrupted Waller. Waller became irate by this and the two exchanged words before the challenge was thrown out. Which man will come out on top?

Odyssey Jones will be returning to in-ring competition tonight. Jones has been out with a ruptured tendon since January, but made his triumphant return last week after taking Malik Blade and Edris Enofé out to party after they came up short in their match against Pretty Deadly for the "NXT" Tag Team Championships.

Speaking of returns, "NXT" Champion Bron Breakker is also set to make his comeback to television for the first time since retaining his title against JD McDonagh and Ilja Dragunov at Halloween Havoc two weeks ago. What will he have to say?

We are live! Vic Joseph and Booker T greet audiences at home as Bron Breakker heads to the ring.

Breakker says Halloween Havoc was a massive night and gives a special shoutout to Wes Lee and Julius Creed for their matches at the premium live event.

Pretty Deadly's music hits and they head to the ring. Elton Prince says that Breakker is the worst and they're sick of them. Breakker mocks them before him and Kit Wilson take shots at him and Wes Lee.

Wes Lee's music hits and he heads to the ring. He says he can't listen to this anymore and tells them to shut up. Lee says he appreciates his words, but Prince asks if they can get back to them. Breakker tells them to "stop b*******", but Lee gets him to calm down. Breakker says he takes things too far sometimes and says he'll take a step back. Lee says he will introduce them and does so. Pretty Deadly then say it's time for a "side plate check." Breakker says it's inevitable that someone will interrupt them and it's usually for their titles. Prince asks who it is tonight and Lee says it's them. Breakker says that since they claim to be the best title holders in "NXT", then they should put the belts on the line tonight. They accept the challenge.

R-Truth's music hits and he heads to the ring.

Back from the break, Grayson Waller heads down.

The bell rings and the two lock up. Waller delivers several right hands to Truth's back before Truth fires back with a clothesline. Waller delivers a shoulder tackle, but Truth trips him and hits a high hip toss. Waller plants Truth, but Truth manages to send him to the outside and hits a cannonball through the middle rope.

Back from the break, the referee has stopped the match after Truth landed on his neck when he went for the cannonball.

Winner: Grayson Waller (via referee stoppage)

Waller grabs a mic and says he isn't surprised he won. He calls himself the most dominant superstar in WWE and says he just beat a 20 year veteran. He says "NXT" is his house and no one will change that.

We head to a video of Vic Joseph and Schism. Joseph asks Raine why she joined Schism and she says she showed the world that they know nothing. She says she's been around WWE all her life, but no one took the time to get to know her except Schism. She says that after she got injured, Joe Gacy was the only one to check on her. Joseph says Gacy must be enjoying the attention Schism has got since Raine joined the group and Gacy says it's not about that. He says Raine is there because they accept her for who she truly is. Rip Fowler says that every other group dreams of the togetherness they have and offers Joseph a pin. Jagger Reid says that when one takes their mask, it is too harsh for everyone except Schism. Joseph asks the group about Cameron Grimes' tweet about Ava Raine being brainwashed by the group and Raine says she was never brainwashed. She says that you don't get to reject Schism and walk away. She says they are committed to putting an end to Schism and Gacy says they are four roots in one tree.

We head backstage to Javier Bernal talking to Edirs Enofé and Malik Blade outside of Shawn Michaels' door. He says that while they gave it their all last week, they aren't championship material. Bernal says Michaels texted him to meet him outside of his office. Odyssey Jones then walks out of Michaels' office and says they will be facing one another.

Back from the break, we head to a video of Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons entering the locker room. Indi Hartwell asks what her problem is and she says the world saw it. Hartwell says she isn't pouting about being attacked by Elektra Lopez and not everyone is afforded championship opportunities. Stark says that she isn't worthy of a shot at a title and the two women get into a verbal altercation.

We head backstage to Thea Hail and Andre Chase preparing for Hail's match against Kiana James. She says something doesn't feel like and asks who will carry the flag. Duke Hudson bursts out of the wall and says he will.

The trio then head down to the ring. Kiana James follows.

The bell rings and James sends Hail to the mat. She delivers a forearm, then plants her face first into the mat. She sends her into the turnbuckle, then delivers several stomps. Hail fires off a triage of clotheslines, then delivers a drop kick to James' knee and hits a crossbody off the top rope. James catches her, but Hail manages to reverse it into a roll up. James kicks out and plants Hail to the mat. She goes for a pin, but Hudson puts Hail's foot on the bottom rope to break the fall. Chase asks what he's doing and ejects him from ringside. This allows James to hit the 401K for the win.

Winner: Kiana James

After the match, Charlie Dempsey attacks Chase, but Hudson runs down to make the save. He helps up Hail.

We head backstage to Fallon Henley, Josh Briggs, Brooks Jensen and McKenzie Mitchell. Mitchell asks for their thoughts on the Tag Team Championship Match. Briggs says that they're pulling for Bron Breakker and Wes Lee, but if they come up short, then they will go after Pretty Deadly. Jensen says Pretty Deadly will fall to them. Kiana James' secretary walks in and hands Henley a manilla envelope. They read it to themselves.

Odyssey Jones heads to the ring, followed by Javier Bernal.

Back from the break, we head to Bron Breakker and Wes Lee preparing for their match. Mr. Stone walks in and says Breakker cares about gaining new titles than defending his own. He says that he can take any guy on the roster, except for Von Wagner. He says they're coming for him. Breaker tells Mr. Stone to tell Wagner to meet him face to face next time and tells him to get out.

The bell rings and the two lock up. Jones sends Bernal to the mat with a shoulder tackle, then follows it up with a bodyslam and a right hand to his chest. Bernal hits a triage of right hands to Jones' back, then goes after his knee. He delivers a chop block, followed by several right hands to the area. Jones sends Bernal into the corner, then drives him into the mat and delivers a pair of clotheslines. He hits a shoulder block, followed by a hip attack and the Boss Man Slam for the win.

Winner: Odyssey Jones

Back from the break, the ring is set up in the style of the Toxic Attraction lounge. The three women then head to the ring.

Jacy Jayne tells fans to "bow in the presence of greatness." She says Rose proved the haters wrong and calls her the most dominant champion in "NXT" history. Gigi Dolin says that even though no one believed in her, she is better than everyone in the locker room. Jayne lists a few of Rose's accomplishments before saying they put together a video package for her.

The video depicts Rose's time in "NXT" and her reign thus far. Rose then thanks Dolin and Jayne for the video and says that wasn't bad "for a piece of eye candy." She says that's all she was to fans, but she realized two years ago she had to bet on herself. She says coming to "NXT" was the best choice she ever made and says the numbers speak for themselves. She says the "NXT" Championship represents the greatest female wrestlers in the world and she's proven herself as such. She says she's stepped on every woman in the division and says it's felt good to sit on her throne. She says no one will be kicking her out anytime soon and says they know where to find her.

Smoke comes out of nowhere and Alba Fyre appears. She attacks Rose and Jayne, then sends Dolin through a table in the ring. She picks up a mic and says she took out Gigi Dolin this week, but next week she'll take out Jacy Jayne and says she's coming for Rose after.

We head backstage to McKenzie Mitchell and Apollo Crews. Crews says that Pretty Deadly may have got their moment in the sun tonight, but the "NXT" Universe wants to see them wrestle. He says Breakker doesn't want the same thing because he's afraid and says that he didn't expect to have to put on his running shows. Von Wagner walks in and says he's a straight up problem. He says not to waste his time chasing the title and calls himself the future.

Back from the break, we head to another phone call to the Performance Center from SCRYPTS. They say the following as they spray paint the side of the PC with their name:

"You can screen my calls, but you cannot screen my fury. One by one you all shall fall, so just let it happen as it's written on the walls. Coming to "NXT" almost feels like home because inside those ropes, the canvas will be the place how I express how I feel in my bones. I will leave my mark, and I warn you all on my imminent start."

Indi Hartwell then heads to the ring, followed by Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons.

The bell rings and Hartwell delivers a shoulder tackle to Stark. Stark fires back with a back elbow, followed by several shoulders to Hartwell's midsection and a chop. Stark hits a high crossbody, then goes for a pin but Hartwell kicks out. The lights flicker out for a second as Stark whips Hartwell into the corner. Hartwell fires back with a pair of bodyslams, then clotheslines Stark over the top.

Back from the break, Stark delivers a clothesline and a forearm to Hartwell. She delivers a low kick, then goes for a pin but Hartwell kicks out. Stark trips her, then delivers the Stark Special. She goes for a pin, but Hartwell kicks out. Stark delivers several stomps to Hartwell, but Hartwell fires back with a triage of clotheslines. Stark comes back with a super kick, then tosses Hartwell out of the ring and sends her face first into the commentary desk. The referee begins the countout as Stark sets up to powerbomb Hartwell through the table. Lyons talks her out of it before she tosses Hartwell back in the ring and follows her in. Stark continues to talk to Lyons, allowing Hartwell to take advantage and hit a big boot, followed by a clothesline for the win.

Winner: Indi Hartwell

We then head to a video teasing the return of Dominik Dijakovic.

We  head backstage to Valentina Feroz and Sanga. Feroz asks if he'll be in her corner as Veer Mahaan walks in. Sanga says he won't be and she walks off out of frustration. Mahaan says people take advantage of his kindness and asks if anyone honors him.

Back at ringside, Cora Jade heads down, followed by Valentina Feroz.

Back from the break, we head backstage to Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons. Stark says she is in her head and apologizes to Lyons. Lyons says she's got her. Katana Change and Kayden Carter walk in and say they have to be a lot better if they want to win their rematch against them for the "NXT" Women's Tag Team Titles next week.

The bell rings and Jade shoves Feroz. The two lock up before Jade sends Feroz to the mat. Feroz fires back with a pair of arm drags, followed by the double knees. Jade rolls out of the ring and Feroz follows her, sending her head face first into the apron. Jade returns the favor and tosses her back in the ring. Jade delivers several stomps, followed by a series of forearms and an elbow across her back. She goes for a pin, but Feroz kicks out. Feroz rolls up Jade, but Jade kicks out. She looks for a crossbody off the top, but Jade rolls out of the way. She hits a senton, followed by a DDT for the win.

Winner: Cora Jade

After the match, Jade looks to attack Feroz, but Wendy Choo runs down to make the save.

We head backstage to Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo. D'Angelo says he appreciates Stacks getting the merch guy to push his stuff, then tells him that he'll be facing Hank Walker next week. Elektra Lopez walks in and D'Angelo tells her she finally decided to go into business for herself. She says that she's more dangerous than ever and walks off.

Wes Lee and Bron Breakker head to the ring, followed by Pretty Deadly.

Back from the break, Lee and Wilson begin the action. They lock up before Lee rolls up Wilson. Wilson kicks out and regroups with Prince. Prince tags in and Lee delivers an arm drag. Breakker tags in and delivers a moonsault. Prince hits a right hand to his face, but Breakker fires back with a back body drop and a vicious shoulder tackle. Lee tags back in and Prince delivers a right hand to his midsection. Prince sends him into the mat face first, then tags in Wilson. The pair look for a double suplex, but Breakker makes the save. Breakker and Lee hit a double Frankensteiner to send Pretty Deadly out of the ring.

Back from the break, Lee sends Prince to the mat. He delivers a drop kick before Wilson makes the blind tag and clocks Lee from behind. He sends Lee into the apron face first, then goes for a pin. Lee kicks out and Wilson hits him with a leaping elbow. Wilson hits a right hand to Lee's head, then delivers a neck breaker and goes for a pin. Lee kicks out and the two men begin to exchange elbows. Prince tags back in and delivers a back elbow. He hits several stomps on Lee, then looks for a splash. Lee escapes and tags in Breakker as Wilson tags in. Breakker levels Pretty Deadly, then delivers a double suplex and kips up. Lee tags in and hits a crossbody. He hits a super kick, then ascends to the top. Carmelo Hayes runs down and pushes Lee off the top turnbuckle. This allows Wilson to roll him up for the win.

Winners (and still): Pretty Deadly

After the match, Lee takes down Hayes with a cannonball over the top. The two men brawl to the back as Von Wagner gets in the ring and delivers a big boot to Breakker as we see Apollo Crews watching on from backstage. JD McDonagh approaches him and says his vision will be tough to bring to fruition.
