Expertise
WWE NXT, Independent Women's Wrestling, Ring Of Honor (Cary Silkin Era)
- Miles created and co-hosted the NXT Wrestling Fan Podcast, designed to teach fledgling wrestling fans how to watch and understand the medium.
- He co-authored two books about "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series and its television adaptation, "Game of Thrones."
- A multi-talented writer and editor, Miles once got paid actual money to write an article about who would currently have custody of Dominik Mysterio if it had been treated like a WWE championship.
Experience
Miles has been a published writer and prolific podcaster in pop culture and media spaces since 2010, when he first started writing essays for the A Song of Ice and Fire fan site Tower of the Hand. Since that time he's been published in numerous places, from progressive political quarterly Yes! Magazine to the now-defunct FanFyte pro wrestling site. He's also created, produced, and co-hosted numerous podcasts, including the geek culture comedy show Smash Fiction and several shows on the Unspoiled! Podcast Network. A wrestling fan since 2001, Miles fell in love with NXT in 2014, a passion that ultimately led to the NXT Wrestling Fan podcast, which these days continues on without him. In 2021, Miles started writing for the pop culture site Looper, publishing more than 60 articles before becoming a Looper editor and, eventually, lead news editor of Wrestling Inc.
Education
Miles holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Political Science, with a minor in Electronic Media and Film, from Northern Arizona University, where he graduated cum laude in 2014.
