AEW Collision Results 3/1/25: TNT Championship On The Line, Kenny Omega Speaks

We're eight days from "Revolution". Ahead of Swerve Strickland's rematch with Ricochet at the pay-per-view, he will take on NJPW's Clark Connors. Konosuke Takeshita defeated Orange Cassidy in a close match on "Dynamite" to retain his International Championship. His win secured a match against Kenny Omega at "Revolution". Tonight, we hear from Omega.
Daniel Garcia and 2point0 have been feuding with the Undisputed Kingdom for weeks. On "Dynamite", Garcia teamed up with FTR to take them on. After the match, things got heated. Tonight, Garcia will put the TNT Championship on the line against Adam Cole. Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong will face FTR.
Powerhouse Hobbs returns to his hometown of Oakland after defeating Big Bill in a Street Fight two weeks ago. Tonight, he'll team up with Bandido to face Bill and Bryan Keith. Last Saturday, Bandido came up short in an excellent ROH World Championship match against Chris Jericho.
In a rematch from last week's women's match, Julia Hart looks to beat Queen Aminata in consecutive weeks. Hart narrowly beat "The One and Only".
FTR vs. Undisputed Kingdom
Strong and Cash start us off by trying to one up each other. Cash took Strong to the mat, but Strong put him in the headscissors. Strong took him down a second time and then twice more with shoulder tackles. Cash took Strong down, but he got to his feet and tagged in KOR.
KOR backed Dax into the corner and kicked him. Dax responded with a chop and took him down with a shoulder tackle. KOR kneed him in the gut into his corner and tagged in Strong. They each copped Dax several times. Dax did a Manhattan Drop on KOR, sending him to the outside. Cash did a baseball slide into Strong. KOR dropkicked Cash and Strong dropped him on the barricade.
Back in the ring, Strong covered Cash for once. He put him in a headlock and backed him into the corner. KOR did knee lifts and an abdominal stretch. Dax tagged in an punched KOR in the face and suplexed Strong and slammed KOR on top of him. Dax with a small package. He chopped KOR in the corner. Strong broke it up and paid for it. KOR kicked Dax's thigh, but Dax responded with a piledriver for the win.
KOR's leg was on the rope, but the ref didn't see it. On the replay, it was clear that KOR's leg was up. The ref declared Dax as the winner, but KOR demanded they restart the match. The ref restarted it.
Dax threw KOR into the ringpost. KOR slammed Dax's face into the turnbuckle and Dax stumbled back and tagged in Cash. Cash hit KOR in the back, punched him, chopped and uppercut him. While the ref was distracted, Dax hit KOR in the back.
After the break, KOR did a jawbreaker on Dax. Cash tagged in and blocked KOR from tagging in Strong. KOR moved and Cash landed on the turnbuckle. Dax blocked by KOR, but he made it to Strong. Strong cleaned house. He dropkicked Dax and followed with a knee lift. He suplexed him and covered Dax for two.
Dax chopped Strong multiple times. Strong got in forearms. Strong did a fallaway slam on Cash. Strong suplexed Dax. Strong splashed Dax and tagged in KOR and they double teamed him only for Cash to break up the pin. Strong went after Cash, but Cash sent him over the ropes. KOR put Cash in an ankle lock, but he's not the legal man. Dax broke it up and rolled up KOR.
KOR got out of it and pushed Dax into Cash. KOR rolled up Dax and then switched to an ankle lock. Dax kicked free and KOR's momentum took him to the ropes and Cash hit him in the face. Dax rolled him for two.
FTR went for a spike piledriver, but Strong ran into the ring and knocked Cash out of the ring. KOR struck Dax until he fell and put him between his legs, but Cash knocked Strong off the turnbuckle. KOR has Dax in an Octopus hold, but Cash dove from the rope to break it up. Cash pinned KOR for two. FTR executed the double spike piledriver, but Strong broke it up.
Dax sent Roddy to the outside. Cash put KOR on the turnbuckle and tagged i Dax. Roddy has KOR by the boots to keep Dax from doing anything. KOR punched Dax to the mat. Cash and Roddy battle on the outside. Dax did a Superplex and Cash did a splash from the opposite corner. Cash covered KOR for two, but O'Reilly got the shoulder up. FTR can't believe it wasn't three. FTR went for Shatter Machine, while KOR was in the air, Strong jumped up and hit Dax with a knee and they dropped KOR. Strong and KOR did a double team move for the win.
Winner: Undisputed Kingdom
After the match, KOR and Strong offered their hands and FTR dipped.
Wheeler Yuta vs. Willie Mack
Yuta hit Mack in the back and sent him into the corner. He hit Mack's face into the turnbuckle and worked him in the corner. Yuta went for an Irish Whip, but Mack turned it around and sent Yuta into the corner. Mack ran into the corner, but Yuta got his legs up and raked Mack in the eyes. Yuta threw Mack on his back and did a senton. Yuta turned Mack over for the Dragon Shooter. Mack made it to the ropes.
Yuta put his leg over Mack's neck and pressed down against the rope. Mack got in some knife edge chops and followed with a discus elbow to send Yuta through the ropes, but he rebounded. Yuta with a release German suplex. Yuta went up on top, but Mack hit him in the face and jumped on the turnbuckle, but Yuta bit him and made him drop. Yuta jumped over Mack and Mack took him down with a big lariat and a knee up. He did a cannonball on Yuta in the corner. Mack slammed him down and standing shooting star press, but Yuta kicked out. Yuta took him down with a high knee for the win.
Winner: Willie Mack
After the match, Mox came through the crowd with his briefcase. He is alone. Mox hit Mack in he back of the head with the briefcase. He shoved it into Yuta's arms. Mox told the crowd it was none of their business and he has to teach his protege how to "finish the job." Without a mic, Mox instructed Yuta that Cope does not leave the under the ring under any circumstances and to finished the job. Mox picked up Mack and Yuta hit him in the face with the briefcase. Yuta will face Cope on "Dynamite".
We hear from both women's champions
Backstage, Billie Starkz gave Mercedes Moné a message from Mono Watanbe. Starkz had the TBS Championship. Moné grabbed her title. Starkz said Momo said to enjoy it while it lasts because she's taking it at "Revolution". Starkz said she fetched her some tea and splashed it in her face.
After the break, a video airs of "Timeless" Toni Storm laying in a bed with a neck brace. Storm said getting a piledriver on a stage gives her time to think about her last 15 years. She told Mariah that she could pry the title from her cold, dead hips. If she wanted her soul, Storm is leaving it at home. If she wants the spotlight that drove her to Storm in the first place, "now that I can give you." She said Australia was foreplay, but if she wanted a Hollywood ending in Tinsel Town: "disqualifications, I don't want them. Count outs, I don't need them. Rope breaks, piss off. Not a single hold will barred and falls count anywhere in the entire bloody building. Mariah, I hope you believe in God because you're going to meet her."
Swerve Strickland vs. Clark Connors
Swerve is accompanied by Prince Nana. Clark Connors made his way to the ring alone. Connors ran at Swerve, but Swerve sidestepped him. Swerve threw some jabs. Swerved rolled Connors and jumped off the turnbuckle and hit Connors in the back and danced.
They grabbed each other by the hair and Connors raked his eyes and took Swerve down with a shoulder tackle. He kicked Swerve in the corner and put his boot across his neck. Connors raked his face across the ropes before kicking it so it would rebound into Swerve's neck. Connors chopped him in the opposite corner. They exchanged chops in the corner. Swerve with a back breaker. He snapped Connor's arm under his foot.
After the break, Swerve had Connors in an abdominal stretch. Swerve worked his arm and headbutted him twice. Connors hit him with forearms. They ran the ropes and Swerve held onto the ropes and Connors fell. Connors with a powerslam. Connors went for a spear, but Swerve kicked him. Swerve with a spinning heel kick. Swerve put him on the ropes and joined him. Swerve did a belly-to-back and covered Connors for two.
Swerve picked up Connors and put him in a full nelson. Connors got out with a back elbow. Swerve bounced off the ropes into a headbutt. Connors followed with a German Suplex. Swerve intercepted a spear with a flatliner and then went up top for a double stomp, but Connors rolled out of the way and speared him. He pinned Swerve for two.
Swerve fought out of Connors move and rolled him up. They exchanged stand and switches. Swerve sent him to the mat and hit House Call from the front for the win. Nana danced over Connors body. Swerve said into the camera this begins Swerve getting back to the main event as champion and it starts with Los Angeles. He said he's taking back our legacy.

A video aired backstage of The Outrunners confronting The Hurt Syndicate. MVP said it was a few weeks until the pay-per-view and told them to get their business together.
Shane Taylor Promotions vs. Nick Ruiz, Vinnie Massaro, & Dave Dutra
Backstage, Johnny TV confronted The Costco Guys for disrespecting MxM Collection. He challenged him to match and said a cookie and Big Justice don't count. After he walked off, Big Justice said he guesses they'll have to find two partners.
Daddy Magic is on commentary while Ruiz, Massaro, and Dutra are already in the ring. Carlie and Vinne start us off and Carlie took with a forearm. He shoved Dutra in the corner and they teed off on him. Dean took him down and they double teamed him again. Moriarty did a flatliner for the win while The Infantry kept the other two on the outside.

After the match, Adam Cole made his way to the ring for his match with Daniel Garcia. He walked right through STP and ignored them. Cole posed in the ring and Garcia came out.

Cole and Garcia stare each other down before locking up. They worked each others arms and Cole took Garcia down to the mat and did "Adam Cole BayBay". Garcia worked his arm and Cole returned the favor. Garcia rolled him up and tried to pin him three times. We're at a stalemate. Cole offered his hand and pulled Garcia in. Garcia with a swinging neckbreaker. In the corner, he punched Cole. Cole kicked Garcia in the back of the leg and did a backstabber. Cole did a neckbreaker and covered him for one. Cole did a second neckbreaker and pinned him for two. Cole suplexed Garcia and kneed him in the back before putting him in a headlock. Garcia got to his feet and got out. Cole with an enzuiguri. Cole put him on his shoulders, but Garcia got down on the apron and corkscrewed Cole's leg. Garcia put Cole in a chair and did a running dropkick.
After the break, Cole tried to suplex Garcia, but Garcia reversed into a swinging neckbreaker. Cole did a neckbreaker of his own. Cole set up for Panama Sunrise, but Garcia hit him in the chest twice. Garcia joined him and punched Cole. They battled on the ropes. Garcia with a suplerplex and then he immediately got to his feet for a piledriver. Cole kicked out at two.
Garcia got to his feet and Cole rolled him over. Cole with thrust kicks and a Panama Sunrise. Cole pinned him for two and a half. Cole pulled down his kneepad and went for a kick, but Garcia ducked and suplexed him. Both men on the outside and Cole superkicked him and then did The Boom to the back of Garcia's neck. Cole threw him in the ring and pinned him for two.
Cole got to his feet and set up for Panama Sunrise, but his knee was bothering him. Garcia put him in an ankle lock and dragged him to the center in the ring. Garcia sat down while still keeping him in an ankle lock. Cole climbed to the ropes to break it. Garcia wailed on Cole. Garcia did a piledriver on the apron. Cole is laid out on the outside while Garcia is in the middle of the ring. Cole beat the count at 9. They were face to face and exchanged forearms. 15 minutes have passed and 5 remains. They were still exchanging blows when The Infantry and Moriarty attacked both men.
Winner: No contest
Carlie talked trash to Daddy Magic until he left commentary. As he got closer, Taylor blindsided him. STP continued their attack. Moriarty put Garcia in a Border City Stretch.
Julia Hart vs. Queen Aminata
Julia Hart made her way to the ring followed by Queen Aminata. A promo aired of Serena Deeb. Aminata backed Hart into the corner. Out of the corner, Hart put her in a headlock and Aminata took her down. Aminata kept her in a side headlock. Hart reversed and put her in one. Aminata took her down to a knee and then took Hart to the mat. They circled one another before locking up. Hart ran the ropes and did a tejares. Hart splashed her in the corner and did a running elbow.
She put Aminata in a side headlock. Hart with a forearm shot. They followed each other on the ropes. Aminata took Hart down by the knee and rammed it into the mat. Aminata stood over her posing.
After the break, Aminata is still in control with a crazy submission. Hart reversed it and tried to pin her for two. Hart with overhand chops and forearms. Aminata did a stand and switch, but Hart reversed it and rolled her up for two. Aminata went to the corner, but Hart moved and took Aminata down and did double axe handles. Hart did a standing moonsault and covered her for two.
Hart trapped Aminata's arm between her legs and put her in the Hart Lock. Aminata used her legs to put Hart on her back for two. Aminata with a double chop. She ran at her in the corner, but Hart put her feet up and knocked her down. Hart stomped her midsection before climbing the ropes. Hart went for a moonsault, but Aminata moved and headbutted her. Aminata used the ropes and kicked her head off. She rolled Hart up for the pin.
Winner: Queen Aminata
After the match, Brody King came to check on Hart and he was blindsided by Kazuchika Okada and his belt. Okada interrupted their promo earlier in the night.
We hear from Kenny Omega
In a pre-taped segment, Kenny Omega said while he was out, he had to listen to Don Callis constantly talk about Konosuke Takeshita beating him twice in one week. It pissed him off. He told Takeshita this isn't personal, it's about what he holds and what it represents. "He who holds the belt is regarded as the best. If you can beat me three times, Takeshita, maybe it's time to admit something. Maybe it's time to admit you're better. Maybe it's time for me to admit that you were Don's meal ticket. Maybe it's time to admit that I can never challenge for a major title again and maybe the old Kenny Omega is gone." He's had an entire year to clear his mind, get better, and he doesn't have the extra baggage of being an EVP and can focus on beating Takeshita.
Powerhouse Hobbs & Bandido vs. Big Bill & Bryan Keith
Bandido made his way to the ring first and was followed by Hobbs. Their opponents were already in the ring.
Hobbs and Bill start us off. Bill tagged in Keith before anything happened. Keith bumped Hobbs chest and then checked Hobbs arms. Keith hit Hobbs in the gut and got shoulder tackled. Hobbs put in a vertical suplex into the corner. Bandido tagged in and held Keith up with one hand. He dropped Keith into Hobbs' arms and Hobbs did a back body drop. Hobbs and Bandido posed.
Keith hit Bandido in the gut and tagged Bill in. Bill hip checked Bandido. Bill tosses Bandido behind him. Bandido bounced off the ropes into Bill, who was going to put him in a chokeslam, but Bandido got out of it. Bill and Bandido started 10 paces, but Bill turned after a couple, but Bandido was ready and ducked. Bandido got him in the corner and did an Irish Whip, but Bill reversed. Bill did a step up enzuiguri and Bryan ran across the apron to deliver a big boot. Bill kicked Hobbs off the corner.
After the break, Keith took Bandido down and then he took a big elbow from Bill. Hobbs broke up the pin. Bill picked up Bandido and had him up for a powerbomb, but Bandido got down. He hit Bill, who stumbled into his corner and allowed Keith to tag in. Keith grabbed Bandido's ankles so he couldn't tag Hobbs. Bandido with a side headlock and used the ropes to take him down. He tagged in Hobbs, who cleaned house. Hobbs took Bill down with a leaping lariat. He ran the corners between them. He sent Bill into Keith before sending Bill to the outside.
Keith went up top and Hobbs did a twisting slam, but Bill broke up the cover. Bill took down Bandido with the Bossman Slam. Bill picked Bandido up by the hair and had him in the air and Hobbs shoulder tackled Bill. Bill went to the outside. Keith with an enzuiguri on Hobbs. Bandido and Keith exchanged chops. They ran the ropes and did stereo dropkicks and went to the mat.
Bill and Hobbs got in the ring at the same time and stood eye to eye, They exchanged right hands. Bill went for a big boot, but Hobbs moved and sent him to the outside. He told Bandido to go up and stand on his shoulders. Bandido did a moonsault off the "big traps" (per Schiavone) of Hobbs onto Bill. Keith ran into the ring and rolled up Hobbs, but had his legs on the ropes. Hobbs shoulder tackled Keith and did a sidewalk slam for the win.
