AEW Collision Results 12/14: Jamie Hayter Vs. Willow Nightingale In Qualifying Match

"Winter Is Coming" continues as does the Continental Classic. Coming off a win over Daniel Garcia, Mark Briscoe looks to pick up three more points against the Blue League leader, Kyle Fletcher. Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada will face Beast Mortos in more Blue League action.

The Wrestle Dynasty International Women's Cup representative will be determined between Willow Nightingale and Jamie Hayter. On Thursday, ROH Women's Champion Athena qualified as ROH's representative. Last night in Arena Mexico, Persephone qualified as CMLL's representative for January 5. STARDOM's qualifier will be determined after a 16-woman tournament.

Following her surprise return at the end of "Dynamite" looking like the Toni Storm of old, she picked up a victory over fellow hometown star, Harley Cameron on "Rampage". Tonight, she'll take on another fellow Aussie in Shazza McKenzie. McKenzie was part of the ALL OUT Casino Battle Royale five years ago.

Kris Statlander looks to keep moving forward and will be in action tonight. After being ringside during Mariah May's title match against Mina Shirakawa holding up various signs, we'll hear from Thunder Rosa.

Although normally a unit, there's been friction between Top Flight, Action Andretti, and Lio Rush. Tonight, they'll take their frustrations out against each other in a tag match. In 10-man action, MxM Collection and Premier Athletes will team up against TNT Champion Garcia, Orange Cassidy, The Outrunners, and Komander.

Before the show, Darby Allin was trying to convince Will Ospreay to help with the Death Riders. Ospreay said he's trying to win the tournament to get momentum back. After the C2, he'll help Allin if he wants it.

Hayter took Nightingale down immediately and Nightingale returned the favor. After locking up again, Hayter put her in a side headlock and tried to shoulder tackle. She tried again, but Nightingale did one of her own to no avail. Nightingale finally took her down with a shoulder tackle.

Hayter attempted a backslide, but couldn't. Nightingale tried to match her and nearly succeeded. Hayter with a DDT. They exchanged chops and forearms. Hayter with an axe blow between the shoulder blades. Nightingale chopped her in the corner and they exchanged chops in the middle of the ring. Hayter ran at Nightingale, who sent her to the apron, but Hayter held on. Hayter did a DDT off the apron. The lights went out briefly and Nightingale took advantage with a cannonball off the apron.

After the break, they exchanged blows on the ropes when Hayter suplexed her opponent. Hayter with a running knee. She followed with a neckbreaker and a sliding lariat. They exchanged blows and Hayter hit an enzuiguri and a pump kick and both women are down. Nightingale with a drop down torture rack.

She followed with a moonsault. She went for another, but Hayter picked her up and did a German Suplex. Nightingale pounced Hayter and set up for Babe with the Powerbomb, but Hayter got out. Hayter followed with a backbreaker. Nightingale finally connects with Babe with the Powerbomb for the win. She advances to Wrestle Dynasty.

After the match, the lights went out. When they came up, Julia Hart attacked her. 

Mortos backed Okada to the ropes, but Okada slipped out and patted his chest. Mortos put him in the ropes again and Okada poked him in the eye. Okada attempted a shoulder tackle and grabbed Mortos by the hair. Mortos took him down with shoulder tackle and sent him into the corner and chopped him. He followed with a sidewalk slam. Mortos went for a discus, but Okada caught him. He ran up on Okada, but the champ sent him crashing to the outside.

On the outside, Okada beat up Mortos before sending him to the ring. While Okada was taking his time, Mortos hit him with a spinning tornillo. He then sent him into the steel steps and went for a cannonball, but Okada moved. Okada blew a chef's kiss to his title and suplexed Mortos on the floor. He blew another chef's kiss to his title.

Following the break, Okada drove Mortos into the corner. Mortos met him with an elbow and swinging neckbreaker. He followed with a couple back elbows and took Okada down. He did two tilt-o-whirl breakers and an Argentine Backbreaker. He pinned Okada for two. Mortos went up top, but Okada joined him. Mortos headbutted him down. Okada drove him to the mat.

Okada put Mortos in a Money Clip, but Mortos flipped Okada. They exchanged blows until Mortos took Okada off his feet with a headbutt. Okada with a neckbreaker after catching Mortos in the corner. He slammed him and went up top for an elbow drop. Mortos ducked the Rainmaker and took him down with a lariat. He followed with a Samoan Drop. Mortos went up top again, but Okada moved. Okada kicked him in the faced and slapped him a few times before Okada took him down with a missile dropkick. Mortos popped up, but Okada did a spinning lariat and Rainmaker for the win.

Winner: Kazuchika Okada

McKenzie kicked Storm in the gut and put her in a headlock. Storm with a shotgun dropkick, a backbreaker, and suplex. Storm followed with multiple uppercuts and McKenzie responded with a backslide. Storm with a hip attack in the corner and a Storm Zero for the win.

After the match, Storm grabbed a mic and announced she's "officially All Elite."

In a video after her match on Wednesday, Mariah May issued a challenge to Thunder Rosa. Rosa is backstage talking to Tony Schiavone. Storm interrupted them to introduce herself to them. Rosa blew off Storm and responded that she wanted May in a Tijuana Street Fight at Worlds End. 

The winner of this match gets a tag team title shot.

Dante and Lio start us off. Dante took Lio down first, but they exchanged take downs. Darius and Action tag in and lock up. Dante put him in a headlock and took him to his knee. They did shoulder tackles with Action going down. Dante followed with a hip toss and rolled over him for a cover. Action with a leg sweep and Darius with a backslide. They bumped chests and Action took him down with an enzuiguri to the back of the head.

Lio tagged in and Action double teamed Darius. Darius set Lio to be double teamed, but Lio escaped and knocked Dante back. Dante tagged in. Top Flight was on the apron, setting up Lio and Action for stereo handspring cutters.

After the break, Lio and Action double team Dante in the corner. Dante sent Action to the outside and then flipped over Lio to get to the corner and tag in Darius. Darius took down Lio and Action. He got in more offense. Action got back in the ring and saved Lio and took a swinging neckbreaker. Dante used Darius as a springboard to take down Action. Darius ducked Lio's spin kick. Top Flight doubled teamed Lio and pinned him for two.

Action pulled Dante off the apron. Darius chopped Lio to the rope and sent him over his head. Lio and Action double teamed Darius. Each team ducked the other. Lio hit Dante with a forearm and dropped him to the mat. Action sent Darius to the outside. Action for a tope suicida and slid through. Darius tossed him on to the apron and Action kicked him before landing a top rope springboard. Dante followed with a tope suicida. Leila high fived Dante and he missed that Lio was coming with a tope of his own. It knocked Leila down. Dante and Lio were upset, but Lio told Action to take out Dante. They put Darius in the ring. Lio and Action did consecutive elbow drops. Action pinned Dante.

Winner: Action Andretti and Lio Rush

Statlander took Tootie down to the mat and followed with a corkscrew. She put Tootie in a vertical suplex long enough for Schiavone to talk about the ShopAEW sale. Tooite got in palm strikes. Statlander responded with a dropkick and sent her into the corner. Statlander set up for a powerbomb, but Tootie reverses and takes down Stat. Stat with a lariat and Staturday Night Fever.

Winner: Kris Statlander

Before the match, Sterling asked MxM to touch tips with the Premier Athletes.

Garcia and Woods start us off. Woods backed him up to the ropes and tried to send him over and mocked his dance. Woods took him to the mat and mocked Garcia again. Garcia sent Woods to the rope and covered him. Garcia took Woods down again and Nese tagged in then got sent to the babyface corner.

Cassidy tagged in and kicked Nese repeatedly in the corner. Nese uppercut Cassidy. He sent Cassidy to the corner, allowing Komander to tag in. Nese tried to take down Cassidy, but Cassidy reversed it and pulled him down, allowing Komander to springboard off his back into Daivari. Komander went up top, but Mason distracted him. Nese made Komander fall forward. Nese tagged in Mansoor. MxM double teamed Komander and posed.

After the break, Komander gets tagged in and then double teamed by Nese and Daivari. On the outside, Orange and Daniel beat them up. Komander was running the ropes when Sterling pulled him down. Komander grabbed his tie and Daivari hit Komander in the back. Daviari put Komander on his shoulders and from the apron, Nese pulled Komander over his head and into Woods. Woods set up for a powerbomb and Mason knocked him off with an enzuiguri. Mansoor with a frog splash, but it was broken up by Komander's team.

All ten men are in the ring. Some get thrown out. Garcia suplexed Mansoor and then was headbutted by Mason. Cassidy with a DDT on Mason and a tope on Mansoor. He put Mansoor in a chair to set up a running dropkick by Garcia. Komander did a rope walk, tagged in Orange before diving on his multiple wrestlers. Cassidy with an Orange Punch to Sterling and followed with one to Woods for the win.

Winner: Orange Cassidy, Komander, The Outrunners, and Daniel Garcia

Fletcher backed Briscoe into the corner. When the fans chanted "Ospreay's better!", he rolled out of the ring to jaw with the fans. Briscoe put him in a waistlock, but Fletcher worked his arm and took him down with a shoulder tackle. Briscoe put him in a side headlock and Fletcher repaid the favor.

Fletcher with a side headlock takedown. Briscoe reversed into a head scissors. Fletcher got out and stomped on him. Briscoe challenged Fletcher to hit him and he did. Briscode busted out Redneck Kung Fu. Briscoe chopped him over the rope and they attempted to suplex each other.

Briscoe bit him on the forehead and did a snapmare onto the outside. Briscoe with a dropkick through the ropes and followed with a tope con hilo. Fletcher hit Briscoe with a running knee and knocked him off the apron. Briscoe caught his kick and did a running neckbreaker off the apron. He followed with an elbow drop off the apron.

Briscoe chopped him around the ring. Briscoe set up for a Jay Driller in front of commentary, but Fletcher reversed into a back body drop. Fletcher suplexed Briscoe over the barricade into the crowd. Fletcher scooted a chair over and did a running dive over the barricade. He sent Briscoe back over the barricade, but Briscoe chopped him in the neck. Briscoe followed with a suplex over the barricade.

After the break, they were back in the ring. Briscoe hit Fletcher with body shots. Fletcher took Briscoe down. They exchanged blows. Briscoe chopped Fletcher multiple times and took him down. Briscoe with an exploder and a Fisherman's buster and covered him.

Briscoe put him in a fireman's carry, but Fletcher reversed into a half and half. Briscoe took him down with a lariat and a Death Valley Driver. Briscoe went up top for a Froggy Bow, but Fletcher got up and forearmed him. Briscoe chopped Fletcher in the neck and hit the Froggy Bow. Fletcher got his knees up and went up top and went for an elbow drop, but Briscoe moved.

Fletcher with a scoop slam and a pin for two. Fletcher shook his head in disbelief. Briscoe gets out of a powerbomb attempt and followed with Redneck Kung Fu. Fletcher with two big kicks, but Briscoe with more Redneck Kung Fu. Briscoe set up for a Cutthroat Driver, Fletcher poked him in the eyes. He rolled up Briscoe with his feet on the ropes, but the ref caught him. Briscoe rolled him up for two. Fletcher blocks the Jay Driller and put him in a brainbuster. Briscoe kicked out at two. Fletcher grabbed the ref's shirt.

Fletcher with a running kick in the corner. Briscoe got out of a suplex and punched Fletcher in the back. He nailed him with Cutthroat Driver. Both men are down. Fletcher rolled to the outside. Briscoe went up top and hit a Froggy Bow on the outside. He sent Fletcher in the ring when Arkady Aura announced one minute remaining. Briscoe with a Froggy Bow, but Fletcher kicked out at two. Briscoe set up for Jay Driller, but Fletcher got out and rolled him up only for Briscoe to kick out. Briscoe with a rollup and set up for Jay Driller, but Fletcher backed him into the ref. Briscoe finally hit the Jay Driller and handed Fletcher his first loss of the tournament.

Winner: Jay Briscoe

Willow and Orange sent Briscoe to celebrate when they cut to the back. The Death Riders ambushed FTR and shoved them out the door. Yuta continues filming and it sounds like a beatdown is happening.
