WWE Raw Results 12/9 - Rhea Ripley Vs. Raquel Rodriguez, Wyatt Sicks Vs. Final Testament

It's the last Monday before Saturday Night's Main Event, but before that, there's an old grudge to be settled from last month, as Rhea Ripley takes on Raquel Rodriguez in a match that was reportedly supposed to have happened at Crown Jewel. In more women's action, the latest triple threat match to determine the contenders for the new Women's Intercontinental Championship will take place, while over in the men's division, The Wyatt Sicks return to "Raw" to take on Karrion Kross and the Final Testament!

GUNTHER addresses Finn Balor
GUNTHER comes down to the ring, and he calls out Finn Balor, saying Saturday Night's Main Event won't end the way Survivor Series did. Finn comes out with The Judgment Day and says GUNTHER is right, it won't end the same way, because Survivor Series ended with GUNTHER retaining because of Finn, and SNME will end with GUNTHER losing the title because of Finn. GUNTHER says Finn isn't as good as him, and he never will be, which prompts The Judgment Day to surround the ring, enter, and attack. Damian Priest's music hits and he comes out to help GUNTHER fight off The Judgment Day, but he's overpowered and takes a Coup de Grace.
Backstage, Finn is laughing about what happened with The Judgment Day when Adam Pearce approaches and says the SNME title match is now a triple threat also involving Priest. After he walks away, Liv Morgan mockingly asks Finn if he can help her and Raquel Rodriguez prepare for their matches tonight, but Finn says he'll have to get back to them.
Wyatt Sicks vs. Final Testament
The Wyatts storm the ring and almost immediately clear it. Howdy has Kross in a Sister Abigail right away, but
Back from break, and the Testament are in control, as Joe Gacy just took a big double-team move from AOP. Rezar taughts the Wyatts and drags Gacy to his feet and gets him the corner. Gacy hits Rezar with a boot but can't make the tag. Rezar drags him away, but Gacy hits a big clothesline and makes the tag to Erick Rowan. Rowan clears the ring and his Akam and The Miz with a double basement dropkick to the outside. Rowan taunts and Miz is waiting for him when he gets back in the ring, but Rowan no-sells a kick and drives Miz down for a two-count.
Now AOP are back and they hit Rowan with a double powerbomb. Lumis and Gacy are here and they hit AOP with superkicks, Gacy hits. a suicide dive outside the ring and Lumis comes off the top to the outside. Rowan is back and Uncle Howdy wants the tag. He clotheslines Miz, smashes him in the corner, and hits a big move off the ropes. Miz tries to run and escapes via back elbow, tagging in Kross. Howdy clotheslines Kross outside the ring and poses. He goes for a move off the ropes but gets tripped by Scarlett, but Nikki Cross appears behind her and terrifies her. Scarlett escapes into the ring and tries to get the ref to help her. She slides to the other side of the ring and out, but Kross hits a jumping crossbody off the steps. In the ring, Miz saves Kross from Sister Abigail again, but Howdy gets the Mandible Claw on Miz. From the outside, Paul Ellering throws powder in Howdy's face, allowing Kross to hit his finisher and get three!
Winners: The Final Testament
In a sit-down interview backstage, CM Punk is asked about the favor Paul Heyman owes him. Punk says it's a personal thing and it's not the right time to talk about it. He's then asked about Seth Rollins. Punk says it's no secret that he won't shy away from a fight. When it comes to Seth's hatred, Punk is more confused than anything. He doesn't hate Seth at all. Punk talks about their history, when a 16-year-old Rollins came to Punk to ask to be trained — for free. That entitlement has carried over into the adult Rollins. Seth wants to be the best of the world, but Punk remembers when he protected Seth from getting fired. Punk says if he had to live in his shadow, he'd hate him too. Punk says he did everything Seth has done before he got here, and he recognizes that Seth did a good job filling in when Punk left, but the starter is back now and the second-stringer has to sit on the bench.
Dakota Kai vs. Liv Morgan
Kai nearly got an early pin before Morgan sent her over the top. After the break, Morgan was in control when Pure Fusion Collective made their way down. They exchanged suplexes before Kai forearmed Morgan, hit two lariats, and a dropkick. She hit her with a running boot in the corner. Kai dangled Morgan over the rope and kicked her before covering her for two. Kai connected with a Scorpion Kick.
Zoey Stark tried to get involved and was met with a kick. Shayna Baszlet met the same fate. Kai rolled up Morgan, but she kicked out. Morgan did a facebuster and a running knee in the corner. Kai powerbombed the champion and kneed Sonya Deville off the apron. This allowed Morgan to hit Ob-LIV-ion.
Winner: Liv Morgan
PFC attacked Kai, but Damage Control came out to make the save. Kairi Sane did a huge cross body on the outside. Morgan did the Ob-LIV-ion on IYO SKY.
In a backstage segment, Drew McIntyre talked about succumbing to massive blood loss at "Bad Blood" and then was on "RAW" against doctor's orders. He returned to Scotland because his family needed him. 2024 should've been a career year for him. Seeing Roman Reigns and CM Punk side-by-side with The Bloodline at "Survivor Series". That's why he took out Sami Zayn and Jey Uso.
We hear from Seth Rollins
Cody Rhodes is seen coming from Adam Pearce's office and he runs into New Day. He tells them they should be ashamed of themselves.
Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring. He tells the crowd to give it up for CM Punk. He said he has a career as a politician after he retires. He confirms that he did go to Punk in the past and said that he helped him get his foot in the door with WWE. Rollins says Punk left out the part where he refused to return his calls when he left the company 11 years ago. He said Punk ghosted everyone. For the next decade, Punk tried to tear down WWE. He said he's only back because he failed everywhere else and the money was right.
Rollins shook his head at the Punk chants and said he used to respect him. He says Punk is a fraud and he wanted to be better than him. He did the one thing he could never do and that's main event "WrestleMania". Sami Zayn made his way to the ring. Rollins warned him that if he's defending Punk again, they're fighting again.
Zayn says it was wrong of him to assume he attacked Jey Uso and apologized. Rollins talked about that friendship and asked why he was the first person he thought of to attack Uso. Zayn said that Rollins was talking crazy and sounded like Drew McIntyre. Rollins took offense to that. He pointed out that Punk brings out the worst in Rollins. He said he'll stay out of it and asks if they're cool now. Rollins says they are and it seems like he has to handle his business with McIntyre and left the ring.
Zayn said he's already spoken to Pearce and at "Saturday Night's Main Event", they have a match. As Zayn walked up the ramp, McIntyre attacked him. He had to be pulled off Zayn.
Zelina Vega vs. Ivy Nile vs. Lyra Valkyria
As soon as the bell rang, Vega dropkicked Nile out of the ring and Valkryia tried to roll Vega up. Vega took control of the match and nailed a 6-1-9. Nile pulled Vega off the apron and covered Valkyria. She began stomping on her.
After the break, Valkyria was hyping up the crowd before dropkicking both women through the ropes. She followed with a tornado DDT and Fisherman Suplex on Nile. She put her in a fireman's carry, but Nile got down and put her in an armbar. Valkyria rolled her up for two, but Nile got out. They exchanged pins and Vega flipped onto them to break up the pin. Vega covered them both, but Nile rolled out of the ring, so she covered Valkyria.
On the outside, Vega slid through the ropes to do a sunset flip on Nile. Vega went up top for a Meteora. Nile broke up the pin and sent Vega into the corner. Vega with a crossbody, but she was caught. Nile pinned her, but Valkyira broke it up. All three women are down.
Nile suplexed Valkyria. Nile did a double German Suplex. She suplexed Valkyira. Vega did a Code Red, but Valkyria broke the pin and hit the Night Wing for the win. Valkyria advances to face Kai.
Winner: Lyra Valkyria
New Day try to speak
Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviewed New Day. She asked why they publicly berated Big E. Kingston said she was supposed to be neutral. Woods said this wasn't unbiased and took a camera to follow Kingston out to the ring. The fans booed and chanted "New Day Sucks!" Woods set down the camera before getting in the ring.
Kingston can't believe the fans are booing them after a decade of positivity. Woods couldn't speak over the boos. He said, "we didn't even do anything to E!" Fans replied chanting for Big E. They got booed out of the ring.
Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez in an Anything Goes Match
While Rodriguez was coming out, she was attacked by Ripley. They fought through the crowd. Ripley sent her over the barricade and threw a trash can at her. They finally made it to the ring to officially start the match. Ripley hit her with a kendo stick until Rodriguez took it. Ripley with a dropkick off the top rope before kicking her through the ropes. Ripley was getting a table when Rodriguez sent her into the ringpost. She sent her crashing across the commentary table.
After the break, both women went crashing to the mat due to a double kick. Ripley hit Rodriguez with a clothesline and kicked her before throwing a chair at her. When Rodriguez caught it, Ripley hit a missile dropkick. Rodriguez sent her face first into the turnbuckle. She picked up Rodriguez to put her through a chair, but Ripley reversed and sent her face first onto the chair. She hit her in the midsection with the chair and covered her for two.
Ripley piled chairs on each other and set her up for the Riptide when Morgan came running down to the ring. Ripley tossed her into the ring. Rodriguez with a big boot. She slammed Ripley on to the chairs.
Ripley headbutted Rodriguez and set up for the Riptide a second time, but Morgan jumped on her back. Ripley threw her to the mat. She did a back kick to Rodriguez. Morgan nailed Ripley with Ob-LIV-ion. IYO SKY dropkicked Morgan and followed with a suicide dive. Rodriguez covered Ripley briefly. She set up a table in the ring and picked up Ripley. Ripley escaped and sent her face first into a chair set up between the ropes. She did the Riptide through the table for the win.
Winner: Rhea Ripley
Ripley and SKY both picked up the title at the same time and stared each other down.
