AEW Collision Results 10/28 - MJF Vs. Kenny Omega, Hikaru Shida Defends The Women's Title

Welcome to Wrestling Inc's live coverage of the October 28 episode of "AEW Collison." This week's episode comes from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Tonight's episode is going to have a huge main event —- AEW World Champion MJF is going to be defending his title against Kenny Omega. Of course, that won't be the only title on the line either —- Hikaru Shida is defending the AEW Women's Championship against Abadon. On the October 27 episode of "AEW Rampage," Abadon defeated Willow Nightingale, Skye Blue, and Anna Jay to earn tonight's title shot.

Bullet Club Gold leader and MJF's thorn in his side, Jay White will be in action against AR Fox, while House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews) are returning to action. The stable hasn't wrestled since they lost the AEW World Trios Titles to Daddy A** and The Acclaimed at AEW All In. 

Tonight's show opens up with the Bullet Club Gold coming to the ring. It's White vs. Fox to open the show. 

Jay White Vs. AR Fox

The bell rings White and Fox lock. White has Fox in a sleeper, then an elbow, and hits him in the stomach. Chops in the corner to Fox. Fox gets some offense, and White it out of the ring. Fox hits a shoot star press and throws White back in the ring. White throws Fox back in the corner. Chops back and forth. Several knife edge chops from White and he gets a one count. DDT to Fox, White goes for a count and gets only two. Commercial break.

Back from the break, White has Fox in the corner, more chops, then a shoulder to the gut. Fox does a flying sentan, twisting vertical suplex, goes to the top, hits a senton bomb gets a two count. Fox hooks on White and drives him into the mat, getting a two-count. White is up and hits the Blade Runner for the win.

Winner: Jay White

Post-match, MJF gets his belt back, but White gets it back. MJF runs into the crowd and the crowd chants his name.

Backstage with the Acclaimed, Max Caster gets catfished by someone pretending to be MJF. Daddy A** and Anthony Bowens talk about celebrating

Match: The Boys Vs. The Gunns

The Boys (Brent Tate and Brandon Tate) come out with Dalton Castle to the ring. It's revealed that they will be facing Colten and Austin Gunn, who are of course, already in the ring. Gunns control the match. Brett is in the corner, he's in trouble. Brandon tries to save his brother but gets thrown out quickly and the Gunns hit the 3:10 to Yuma for the win.

A video package airs about Omega and MJF ahead of their match. 

AEW Women's Title Match: Hikaru Shida (c) Vs. Abadon

Back from the break, a clip of Danhausen teasing that he will be back "very soon."

Backstage with Lexy Nair, she's interviewing Ryan Nemeth. Nemeth wants CJ Perry to be his manager, so he knocks on Perry's locker room door, Miro is one the who opens the door, throws him in the room, closes the door, and attacks him.

Next up is the AEW Women's Title match.

Abadon comes out to the ring first, in "Spawn" inspired attire, while the AEW Women's Champion comes out next, her costume is inspired by Ada Wong from the Resident Evil video game series. The bell rings, and they do the test of strength. Abadon has a plastic bone in her hand, but Shida dropkicks her.

Shida does another dropkick and flies Abadon out of the ring. Shida can't find her. Abadon is under the ring and tries to take her under. Shida backs away, but Abadon sneaks up behind her from the other side of the ring. Abadon hits her with a pumpkin trash can cover. It cuts to commercials.

Back from the break, they are in the ring now. Shida goes from the top with a witch's broom. She misses Abadon. Clothesline to Shida. Abadon has a baseball bat, and hits Abadon in the stomach, but Shida counters, using the bat to choke Abadon. Shida runs into a lariat, and Abadon gets a two-count. Abadon throws candy in the middle of the ring, goes to the top, and hits Shida into the candy. Abadon has a pumpkin, and Shida has a kendo stick, hitting each other. Shida puts a jack-o-lantern on Abadon's head, then hits a katana kick to Abadon for the win.

Ricky Starks Vs. Dax Harwood

Post-match, "Timeless" Toni Storm comes out. She is posing on top of the announce table. She is again stealing the spotlight from Shida.

Back from the break, video package of Keith Lee and Shane Taylor talking about their feud.

Samoa Joe comes out to the ring, he is going to be defending his ROH TV Championship. Rhett Titus is his opponent, he's already in the ring. The bell rings, and Joe has Titus in the corner, several shots at him. Titus goes to the top, to do the crossbody, but Joe just walks away. Joe is going to do the muscle buster but Titus counters. Not for long though, Joe chokes him out.

Backstage, Claudio Castagnoli says that he is going to make Okada and Orange Cassidy pay for what they did to Bryan Danielson. Next up is Ricky Starks Vs. Dax Harwood.

After each opponent comes out, the lights are out, it's revealed that The House of Black is in the stands. The bell rings. Starks has Harwood in a headlock, he reserves it. Harwood does a side headlock takeover. They both are up, Harwood has Starks in the corner and gives him chops in the corner. Harwood hits a suplex, and a leg drop — gets a one count.

Harwood hits a bodyslam, goes to the top rope, and goes for a splash, but misses. Starks throws Harwood in the turnbuckle. Starks is walking on the ropes now and gives a big elbow to Harwood. Starks gets a one count. Chops back and forth. Harwood sends STarks outside, goes for a baseball slide, but gets caught in the ring apron. Starks hits him a few times, takes him out of the ring apron, and then hits a suplex on the ramp.

FTR Gets Help From La Faccion Ingobernable, Squash Match

Back from the break and they are in the ring. Harwood hits a superplex. Double underhook. Starks is down but gets up quickly. Starks almost steals the match with an inside cradle. House of Black are still watching the match. Standing switch. Starks is looking for the tornado DDT, but Harwood counters with a brainbuster.

Harwood misses Starks and hits the middle turnbuckle. Starks gets a knee to the face, then a piledriver. Big Bill pulls out Harwood's leg, so he can't get the three-count. While there is commotion, Starks hits a piledriver, winning the match. 

Winner: Ricky Starks

It goes dark again, and Julia Hart is on the ramp. House of Black are in the ring, but LFI comes out. They look like they aren't going to help FTR but then turn on House of Black. Everyone is fighting. Starks and Bill run.

Backstage with Nair and Andrade El Idolo. He doesn't want to give an interview and leaves. It goes to commercials.

Back from break, again with Nair, this time it's Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale, and Skye Blue. Nightingale says that she feels a tension growing between them.

Castagnoli comes out, he looks angry. He is going against Tracy Williams. He attacks him before the bell rings. Castagonli squashes Williams, forcing him to tap out.

Winner: Claudio Castagnoli

Backstage, Joe is talking to MJF. He says that he will only help MJF if he gives him a title match. MJF doesn't say anything.

AEW World Championship Match: MJF (c) Vs. Kenny Omega

It's main event time. The bell rings, and the two lock up. MJF takes Omega to the mat, and Omega counters with another submission. MJF steps on the back of Omega and acts like Ric Flair. Omega shakes the hand of MJF, but MJF gives him a thumb to the eye. The crowd cheers MJF. Omega throws MJF out of the ring, flies, and lands on MJF. MJF does a backflip, something he doesn't do. Crossbody to MJF, MJF turns around does a neckbreaker, and goes for the pin. Omega kicks out.

MJF does a DDT, plants Omega's head to the mat. Omega does a snapdragon, Polish Hammers. Omega throws MJF out of the ring with a lariat, he then flies on him outside of the ring. Back in the ring, Omega does a missile dropkick. He tries to do a shooting starpress but misses MJF. Omega is now in the corner of the ring getting shots from MJF. MJF throws him in the turnbuckle. MJF gets thrown into the announce table. Omega rolls in and out of the ring. He pulls out a table. They exchange cradles. Backslide by MJF, gets a two-count. Lariat to Omega. Omega has MJF on the ring apron and hits a neckbreaker. MJF gets powerbombed into the table. 90-second commercial.

Omega barely gets up from the powerbomb. They are now both in the ring, chops between each other. MJF looks dazed. MJF, though counters Omega's one-wing angel with a POISON RANA, but Omega does the same thing to him. Blue Thunder Bomb to Omega, MJF gets a two-count only. A kick to Omega's face. Omega does a midair counter, and a piledriver, MJF breaks the pin, by putting his foot on the ropes.

MJF Retains

Back from the break. They are both outside of the ring. MJF gets power bombed into the guardrails. Omega doesn't want to get counted out, so he gets back in the ring, bringing MJF with him. Omega is on the top rope, but MJF pushes him.

Omega drives his knee into MJF's head, then hits a snapdragon. Omega does a v-trigger, and another v-trigger, goes for the one-winged angel — Don Callis runs out! MJF tries to get the pin while Omega is distracted but Omega kicks out.

MJF hits a heatseeker on Omega, but Omega kicks out. So many kickouts from the champion and challenger. MJF goes on top and tries for the Panama Sunrise for his friend Adam Cole, but Omega counters. MJF tries again, and this time it works, he then adds the heatseeker for the win.

And still the AEW World Champion: MJF

Post-match, MJF extends his hand, Omega ignores him at first, but he does it and they hug. There is some respect between them. MJF lifts up Omega's hand and the crowd cheers. The end.
