Fatal 4-Way For Vacated WWE Women's Tag Team Belts Announced For Tonight's WWE Raw

While defending the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships on the May 12 episode of "WWE Raw" against Bayley and Dakota Kai, Liv Morgan sustained a shoulder injury. Since she can no longer compete or defend the titles, Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez had to relinquish their belts. However, new champions will be crowned tonight.

WWE.com announced that Bayley & IYO SKY,  Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler, Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green, and the newly paired Rodriguez and Shotzi will compete for the vacant titles on the red brand this evening in a Fatal 4-Way match. 

The former champion is looking to reclaim the title that she never lost in this match with her new ballsy partner, but there are a number of other combustible elements in this match as well. The former Horsewomen of MMA have been savagely attacking members of the women's tag division for months in the hopes that they draw enough attention to provoke a title shot. Damage CTRL has been looking to regain the gold ever since they lost it, but now they have added motivation to avenge their stablemate Kai after she also suffered an ACL injury recently. And the Karen contingent of Green and Deville are looking to prove that they're serious contenders rather than simply serious complainers. 

Fatal 4-Way matches are often chaotic, but with these WWE Superstars in the mix, who knows what will happen when they step into the squared circle together? But regardless of what goes on after the bell rings, one team will walk out with the top prize in the women's tag division.
