LA Knight, Zelina Vega Announced For Money In The Bank Qualifiers On WWE Smackdown

WWE Money in the Bank is set to take place on July 1 in London, England, and next week on "WWE SmackDown," at least two superstars will be punching their ticket for their respective ladder matches. Earlier this week, WWE announced that Money in the Bank qualifying matches would begin next Monday on "WWE Raw." They did not, however, reveal who would be competing in those matches. But now, at the very least, we know who will be involved on Friday.

Fresh off his victory over Rick Boogs Friday night, LA Knight is scheduled to take on Montez Ford of The Street Profits in a Money in the Bank qualifying match. While Knight wasn't able to get the better of Ford and Angelo Dawkins with Boogs as his partner last week, he did make sure to squeeze in a little trash talk to them after defeating Boogs this week. Knight hasn't had much in the way of meaningful feuds since being Bray Wyatt's first victim upon "The Eater of Worlds'" return tour, but has managed to keep himself on TV, picking up wins against Rey Mysterio and Butch in recent months.

Meanwhile, Zelina Vega, who came short against Rhea Ripley for the "SmackDown" Women's Championship at Backlash earlier this month, will battle it out with Lacey Evans in a qualifying match, as well. For Evans, it will mark her first match on WWE television in more than two months. Vega will be looking to ensure her recent losing streak doesn't make it to three, as she lost to Asuka two weeks after falling to Ripley.
