Bayley And IYO SKY Send Message To Injured Teammate Dakota Kai

Damage CTRL's Bayley and IYO SKY took to social media to send their injured stablemate Dakota Kai a sweet message. Kai is scheduled to undergo surgery for a torn ACL on Tuesday. In the below video, Bayley and SKY make a heart and say, "We love you. Baby, come back."

Kai injured her knee in the same match where Liv Morgan injured her shoulder. The injuries happened during the May 12 edition of "SmackDown," when Morgan and Rodriguez defended the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles against Kai and Bayley.

Since Morgan is injured, there will be a four-way tag team match to determine who will be the new champions on the May 29 edition of "WWE Raw." Bayley and IYO SKY are scheduled to be in the match, along with Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler; Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green; and Rodriguez will now be teaming up with Shotzi. Before having to relinquish the Women's Tag Team Titles, Rodriquez and Morgan had been the champions since defeating Lynch and Trish Stratus (she replaced Lita) on the April 10 edition of "Raw."

It was at SummerSlam 2022 when Kai made her return to WWE after she was released in April of that same year. Also that night, Bayley returned after being sidelined with an injury since July 2021, and SKY appeared after an in-ring hiatus. SKY had not been in the ring since WrestleMania 38 weekend. The trio later dubbed Damage CTRL debuted together that night after Bianca Belair had defeated Becky Lynch.
