Trish Stratus Got Key To The City Of Niagara Falls Instead Of Coming To WWE Raw
Some things are more important to Trish Stratus than showing up for "WWE Raw." The WWE Hall of Famer recently returned for another in-ring run with the company, subsequently turning heel this month by attacking tag team partner Becky Lynch. However, she didn't appear at this week's "Raw" taping in Greensboro, North Carolina because she was more than 600 miles north receiving the key to the city from Niagara Falls, Ontario mayor Jim Diodati.

In fact, she did. Lynch officially challenged Stratus to a match at WWE's Night of Champions event next week, setting up the first one-on-one match between the two iconic women's champions. Previously, Lynch and Stratus have appeared together in the ring three times in tag team matches, including when the pair lost the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship on the April 10 episode of "Raw" before Stratus turned on Lynch. Lynch told the WWE Universe that she let her guard down around Stratus, allowing her to get too close to her family in recent months after the legendary wrestler returned. "The Man" actually thanked Stratus for hitting her in the head and turning on her, explaining that it woke up a part of her she left dormant. Now, Stratus will see just how far she pushed Lynch when the two face off in their bitter grudge match next week.
