Rush Vs. Jungle Boy, More Announced For 5/17 AEW Dynamite

During the special Saturday night edition of "AEW Rampage," several upcoming matches and segments were announced for the May 17 edition of "Dynamite." The first match announced will see "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry face La Faccion Ingobernable member, Rush. The last time that Rush was in action on an episode of "Dynamite," was on the March 1 edition, where he and Preston Vance took part in the Casino Tag Team Royale match. The winners of the match ended up being AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy and Danhausen.

It was also announced that Jericho Society's Sammy Guevara will be in action, though his opponent has yet to be revealed. As noted, Guevara and Jungle Boy will be part of the PIllars Four-way match for the AEW World Championship at AEW Double Or Nothing on May 28. Along with the AEW World Champion MJF, Darby Allin is also going to be in the match.

A segment with Don Callis will be on next Wednesday — he will be discussing his brutal actions from the May 10 episode of "Dynamite." Callis had attacked his longtime friend and IWGP United States Champion Kenny Omega during his cage match against Blackpool Combat Club's Jon Moxley.

Other matches set for next week's "Dynamite," includes a falls count anywhere match between Chris Jericho and newly signed Roderick Strong, while Jay White will face Ricky Starks. The Outcasts' Saraya, Toni Storm, and Ruby Soho will be in action against Dr. Britt Baker DMD, AEW Women's Champion Jamie Hayter, and Hikaru Shida.
