World Heavyweight Title Tournament Matches Reportedly Revealed For Tonight's WWE Raw

The tournament for the new World Heavyweight Championship begins tonight on "WWE Raw," and we now know how the Triple Threat matches will be broken up. According to PWInsider Elite, Damian Priest vs. Seth Rollins vs. Shinsuke Nakamura will make up one of the matches while Finn Balor, The Miz, and Cody Rhodes fill out the other. The winners of each bout will then square off in the main event, with that winner moving on to Night of Champions on May 27.

At Night of Champions, the "Raw" winner will take on whoever emerges from the "WWE SmackDown" pool, which includes the likes of AJ Styles, United States Champion Austin Theory, Bobby Lashley, WWE Hall of Famers Edge and Rey Mysterio, as well as Sheamus. They will have their own set of Triple Threat matches this Friday night, though, the matchups themselves have yet to be announced.

Rollins and Rhodes are coming off victories of their own at WWE Backlash this past Saturday. "The Visionary" stomped his way past "The Nigerian Giant" Omos while "The American Nightmare" got one over on Brock Lesnar. As for the "SmackDown" bracket, Styles recently returned from a lengthy injury layoff while Theory once again retained his U.S. Title — this time in a Triple Threat match against Lashley and Bronson Reed — over the weekend.

The World Heavyweight Championship tournament will reportedly take up a significant portion of tonight's "Raw." Additionally, this will also be the first show since the WWE Draft in which the reshuffled rosters will be in effect.
