Trinity Fatu On Potentially Facing Mercedes Mone: 'I'm Here For It All'

Now that Trinity Fatu is back in the ring after nearly a year off television, there's one "dream" match at the top of her list.

Yes, it's taking on Mercedes Mone, Fatu told the "Ring The Belle" interview show.

Fatu and Mone both walked out of WWE last year, each embarking on their own into the independent wrestling circuit. After several months out of the ring herself, Mone made a surprise appearance at NJPW's WrestleKingdom event in January, soon after winning the IWGP Women's Championship.

Now, Fatu is back. The longtime WWE star made her own surprise debut with IMPACT Wrestling last weekend, after wrestling as "Naomi" from 2009 until walking out with Mone last year.

This last year of my life has been really life-changing in all the right ways," Fatu said recently on the Busted Open Radio show. "It sent me on a whole new chapter in my career and also in my personal life. It just really shook things up, and I'm here." 

Speaking with "Ring The Belle," Fatu also said she'd be "here" for a match with Mone if their paths were ever to cross again.

"I'm here for it all," Fatu said when asked about the potential match. "That is my dream, if the stars align and it happened, absolutely. Absolutely. I want to be a part of it and do everything that I can to continue to elevate this women's division and put IMPACT even more so on the map so we all get the respect that we deserve."
