WWE NXT's Thea Hail Dealing With Minor Injury, Hopes To Be Cleared For Return Shortly
Chase University might be without Thea Hail in the coming weeks, as she has been off television due to an undisclosed injury, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Per the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Hail's current issue is said to only be a minor one, and it is hoped that she will be cleared soon.
Hail last competed at a "WWE NXT" live event on April 15 where she was part of a triple threat for the "NXT" Women's Championship, but it is unknown whether that was the time that the injury was sustained. Before that, her last televised in-ring match took place at "NXT" Stand & Deliver, where Chase U defeated Schism to keep control of Chase University. Hail has been a key player in the group, with the faction getting plenty of screen time as they have grown in popularity, but this week saw Andre Chase get destroyed by Bron Breakker, and Hail was nowhere to be seen due to her injury hiatus.
Hail is one of over a dozen talents on the shelf right now across all of WWE, with injuries being a major issue for the promotion as of late. The "NXT" brand has been dealing with a plethora of injuries in particular, which was intensified this week as Indi Hartwell, Grayson Waller, and Sol Ruca all joined the likes of Amari Miller, Arianna Grace, Blair Davenport, and Nikkita Lyons, who are out of action with a variety of issues right now.
