The Hilarious Stone Cold Steve Austin And Yokozuna Story Casual Fans May Not Know

There have been countless extraordinary incidents in professional wrestling both inside and outside the ring that have made for great stories. For example, there's the story of The Ultimate Warrior holding up Vince McMahon for a large amount of money at SummerSlam 1991, and, more recently, CM Punk and the Elite getting into a backstage altercation following AEW's All Out that led to multiple suspensions and titles being vacated.

Inside the ring, there's the infamous "Montreal Screwjob," when McMahon went off script and screwed Bret Hart out of the WWF Title in "The Hitman's" match against Shawn Michaels at Survivor Series 1996. This summer, Cody Rhodes wrestled an entire Hell in a Cell match with a torn pectoral muscle that had occurred in the days leading up to the match.

Regardless of the era, wild happenings go on in wrestling.

WWE Hall of Famer and six-time WWE Champion "Stone Cold" Steve Austin told a hilarious story involving he and WWE Hall of Famer and two-time WWE Champion, the late Yokozuna that occurred during a live event tour in South Africa in 1996.

"A lot of time when you're doing international travel and there is a dietary change, things happen," Austin said on "Hot Ones with First We Feast." "Yok, man, he was weighing 600 pounds at the time and when he picked me up and slammed me, something went south. And luckily, I was wearing black trunks and Yoko was so cool, he's no longer with us, may God rest his soul. But I was laying there on the mat, I just crapped my trunks and I looked at him and I said, 'Yok, let's go home.' ... He goes, 'Okay, bra,' and we did the finish. I got beat, I went to the back and took a hell of a shower."

That match was one of only three occasions in which Austin and Yokozuna squared off in a one-on-one contest. Yokozuna died in 2000 at 34.
